Biden Finally Comes Back from Vacation, Shows More Weakness With Harris Meeting on Ceasefire Deal

You might think that after Hamas murdered six hostages including an American hostage, that the response from the U.S. might finally be Hamas has to be wiped out. But that would be logical, and this is the Biden-Harris regime we're talking about.

Biden released a statement about Hersh Goldberg-Polin's death but was roundly reamed by all sides for his failure on the whole issue. The statement talked about him "working tirelessly" for the hostages' release -- even as he was on more of his continual vacation.

He didn't even come back on Sunday. He waited until Monday to come back and now pretend like he's doing something with Kamala Harris. They reportedly meeting in the Situation Room on Monday morning with the hostage deal negotiating team.

The White House said the focus of the meeting is to discuss efforts to drive toward a deal that secures the release of the remaining hostages. The meeting is also closed to the press.

So wait, let's think about that a second. Kill hostages, kill an American, and let's work harder to give Hamas -- who killed them -- a deal. You want to get the hostages but you also don't want to reward them. They've learned under Biden and Harris that bad behavior has benefits for them. And,` of course, it's closed to the press because they can't have any questions for the two of them, or see the condition Biden is in. But the press will put out how much they want a deal, again that shows weakness and gives leverage to Hamas.

Biden and Harris told Israel to stay out of Rafah and basically tried to strong-arm them from moving in on Hamas there. That's where the hostages were found murdered, shot at close range. Translate: executed before they could be rescued. The Biden-Harris team keeps throwing out lifelines to Hamas by trying to hamstring Israel's actions.

Hamas killed Americans and has held hostages for almost a year. Biden has done largely nothing except periodically say he's working toward a ceasefire deal. That should require a major response, yet, again, all he and Harris seem to be doing is talking about a deal, not about exacting any action against Hamas.

If you're killing hostages, you're not exactly looking like you want a deal, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pointed out. They've already rejected multiple deals. Maybe leaning with deals rather than action just might not be the right posture.

Will they really be doing anything in the Situation Room other than putting that out to the press to posture like they're doing something? If they make a deal, will they once again release terrorists out to kill more people just to repeat the cycle?

That's the whole point of trying to wipe out Hamas, so you don't continue the cycle and/or you degrade their options as much as possible.
