The Democratic "weird" attack on JD Vance is truly a bizarre thing.
Vance is the American Dream — someone born into poor and difficult circumstances who built himself up by the sheer dint of his talent and work, who served his country, went to Yale, wrote a famous book, became a U.S. senator, and is now running for the vice presidency.
He's a hard candidate to attack. So, the desperate Democrats have tried to paint that American Dream as "weird" — while they promote free vasectomies and abortions at their convention. But that's not "weird."
Meanwhile, Tim Walz is the Howard Dean scream in the flesh, spreading false stories about his military record, his rank, even IVF. That's beyond weird; it's just disqualifying because of how phony he is.
During his DNC remarks on Wednesday night, Walz brought out another weird and false attempt to attack Vance for attending Yale to try to make him sound like he's "elite." He claimed he lived in a small town, and none of the kids in his class went to Yale.
Walz: "I had 24 kids in my high school class and none of them went to Yale."

How bizarre is it for the party of elites, who trot out Oprah Winfrey and Hollywood types, to try to attack the Ivy League? Did he forget or just overlook all the Democrats on the bill at the DNC on the same night who went to the Ivy League, with some also going to Yale, most notably Bill Clinton, who spoke before him?
Gov. Tim Walz again hit Sen. JD Vance for graduating from Yale Law.

The attack is a regular part of the Walz routine by now.
Not mentioned? All the Democrats on stage for Walz last night who also went to elite Ivy League schools. Like Vance, some are even Yalies. pic.twitter.com/z78bD9JVnd
Then, on the prior nights, there was Barack Obama, who went to Harvard and Columbia, and Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo and Hillary Clinton, who both went to Yale Law School.
My colleague Susie Moore ripped into this in her Thursday morning minute.

CNN Republican pundit Scott Jennings called out this ridiculous line of attack, and Van Jones, who went to Yale, agreed it was wrong.
.@ScottJenningsKY: Something Walz does that's so weird to me — he attacks JD Vance for going to Yale. I don't understand this. JD grew up poor and worked hard to get an education... I don't get what he's trying to communicate to every small-town, poor kid out there. pic.twitter.com/lXglHtjtFc

Finally, JD Vance himself just finished off this stupidity, pointing out how sad Walz is for doing this.
JD VANCE REACTS: "I grew up in a very poor family. I was raised by my grandmother who didn't graduate from high school and I am proud of the fact that she worked her tail off and worked to her grave to give me opportunities... and I was able to live the American dream." https://t.co/1crslcisqO pic.twitter.com/zw58q2sA2U

But they don't have anything to offer the American people except attacks, hate, and division.
