Kamala Harris has been trying to bend over backward when it comes to appeasing those on the radical left on Gaza. Some even believe that it influenced her choice of her running mate, knowing that some on the left would not be happy if she picked Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, who is Jewish. Shapiro would have been the smart choice in terms of trying to win the voters of Pennsylvania. Instead, she picked Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who the left found more amenable and that's turned into a continuing unfolding scandal with all his issues, particularly in regard to claims of stolen valor.
But that hasn't stopped the protesters from targeting Harris campaign events. They even hit a Harris endorsement event in NYC, headlined by Mayor Eric Adams. Gov. Kathy Hochul was also in attendance.
A hastily organized rally supporting Vice President Kamala Harris descended into chaos after anti-Israel protesters infiltrated the Big Apple event — and later barged into an afterparty venue, causing several thousand dollars’ worth of damage to its outdoor space.
Several demonstrators against Israel’s military campaign in Gaza were booted from the Democratic gathering in Harlem, where Mayor Eric Adams gave an impassioned speech.
“Make sure you vote,” Hizzoner chanted as the disrupters were dragged from the tiny venue in Upper Manhattan.
My favorite part of that was the funny note — "tiny venue." That's what happens when you don't have a musician there to pump up the attendance at your event.
You can see the protesters screaming at Harris supporters at the party about "genocide" on this video and saying they all had a responsibility. The people at the party seemed to largely ignore them and keep on eating. "How dare you!" the protester screamed. They then caused problems out in the streets, even setting off smoke bombs and blowing off whistles to disturb everyone. You can see some of them getting arrested, as the rest tried to surround the police.
One of them tried to hit a cop with a cardboard sign and got arrested.
“Free Gaza” was also graffitied on a police car, and an anti-Israel poster with the words “No Votes For Bombala’s Genocide” was briefly plastered on a restaurant window.
I'll give them creativity points for coming up with a new nickname for Kamala for another funny note, although they probably should have picked one about her avoidance of the press — that would have been more accurate. They found out that the police didn't appreciate their actions. About 14 of them are taken into custody, according to the police.

But this is what the coddling of the left gets you, and it came back to bite Harris and the Democrats at their own event. Just imagine what it's going to be like at the DNC in Chicago, the home of some of the most virulent radical groups. You know it's going to be lit, but not in a good way.
