WATCH: Schumer's Embarrassing 'Clap' Moment for Harris, As He Even Has Trouble With Her Name

Some of the elite have been coming out to endorse Kamala Harris for the Democratic nomination for president after Joe Biden was shoved aside. Among them was the Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), as we reported earlier. But now there are videos out that show just how embarrassing what he said was on so many levels.

We reported the other day about Kamala Harris' "please clap" moment.

Chuck Schumer also had one as he tried to drum up enthusiasm for Harris as the nominee. But notice no one clapped at the end.

So now that the process has played out "from the grassroots, bottom-up," he said, they were there today to throw their support behind "Kamala Harris!" Dead silence.

"I'm clapping; you don't have to," Schumer said. Oh, my, how bad is that? That dead silence just spoke volumes.

Then what the heck is he talking about? There has been no "process" apart from elites trying to suborn the choice of the more than 14 million people who they lied to and told Biden was just fine. Until he wasn't. Until he was losing and they needed to swap him out for someone else — who also is not doing well in most of the polls.

Now, I have to say this is hilarious — the bilge that Schumer tries to sell when a reporter questions him on that and asks what's his case to the American people that this isn't a "coronation" by insiders.

"The bottom line: It was a bottom-up process. People just rallied right to her side! The enthusiasm in this big, diverse, representative party was amazing! It was palpable; you could cut it with a knife!" Schumer argued.

Forgive me as I share my initial reaction: Hahahahahahahahaha! There hasn't been a single vote cast for her as the nominee, not from a voter, not even yet from a convention.

Then I thought his use of the term "cut it with a knife" was funny, given that it is usually used for tense, unhappy situations. Even in his propaganda, he let a little reality out.

If everyone was so into Harris, why can't you even pronounce her name right?

So much enthusiasm. I thought not pronouncing her name wrong was racist and hateful. For shame, Chuck!

Finally, listen as Schumer doesn't deny when he's asked about having a conversation with Joe Biden telling him to step aside.

Instead, he deflects and claims Biden "put his country first" in making this decision. No, he didn't. He had to be forced out by you guys, and none of you put the country first by having him there, to begin with, when he's had issues for so long, and everyone knew it. This isn't about anything noble; it's about suborning how the people voted in the primaries and slipping in someone who didn't get one primary vote for president.
