The BBC just interviewed a witness who said they started to alert the police about a guy up on a roof with a rifle. 

And as they were telling them this, the witness says shots rang out:

The witness said that the Secret Service shot the guy dead. There's an unconfirmed video of a man on a roof near the rally. We would stress that the police have not confirmed this video yet:
