Democrats have been chomping at the bit to call former and possibly future President Donald Trump a "convicted felon,” and they’re jumping on the chance now.
That includes Joe Biden himself, who has finally crossed the line and gone there in an unhinged rant during a campaign fundraising event at the Greenwich, Connecticut home of Richard Plepler, the former CEO of HBO. It's funny how much of a projection this rant seems to be.
Telling those gathered that the presidential campaign entered “uncharted territory” last week, Biden told the crowd, per a pool report, For the first time in American history, a former president that is a convicted felon is now seeking the office of the presidency.”
“But as disturbing as that is, more damaging is the all-out assault Donald Trump is making on the American system of justice.”
As he did in brief remarks about the conviction on Friday, Biden called it “reckless” and “dangerous” for Trump to call the judicial process rigged, which has been his common refrain as well as that of a number of his allies.
That's nonsense. How many people in the past have questioned their conviction/said it was unfair and who don't have half the reason that Trump has to object to it? Even CNN legal analyst Elie Honig called out some of the problems in the case, calling it "contorting" the law. Biden doesn't want anyone asking those questions.
Meanwhile, let's review how Joe Biden has bragged about defying the decision of the Supreme Court when it comes to student loan debt. Let's check how Democrats are trying to target conservative justices with all kinds of nonsensical attacks because they don't like the way they rule. Who is really attacking the judicial system here?
Joe wants to be able to use it against Trump, but Americans are hip to it and believe it's political, so it's not helping him, and the more he talks about it, the more he makes it clear it is political.

Biden also claimed that Trump was "unhinged" and “something snapped in this guy for real.”
“It’s literally driving him crazy,” Biden said.
Yet it's Biden who can't put two sentences together, is constantly raging about his opponent incoherently, even demonizing millions of Americans in the process. He was so concerned about Trump he even sent his campaign team to stand outside Trump's trial and have a meltdown with Robert De Niro losing his mind.
It isn't Trump being unhinged here.
You even have Biden's campaign communications director saying Biden is running to end "threat [Trump], once and for all." That sure sounded like a threat.
Biden also claimed that "polls moving our way" yet the polls still generally have Trump up, so who is it who's not dealing with reality here? Not only aren't they moving more toward Biden, but Trump also appears to have raised an incredible amount of money in the wake of the verdict, as we reported, more than $200 million between small donations and money pledged from big donors.
Democrats wanted the "convicted felon" term, but it seems to be backfiring on Biden.
