Biden's Bizarre Cinco de Mayo Comments About Two-Year-Olds, Cutting Donald Trump

Joe Biden held an event in recognition of "Cinco de Mayo" at the White House on Monday.

Now, every time something like that comes up, I know folks who go, "Oh, no, what the heck is he going to say to mess that up?" We've seen all kinds of things when it comes to Joe and Jill in terms of how they talk about Hispanics, from playing "Despacito" which was incredibly cringe, to Jill talking comparing people to "breakfast tacos" and talking about the "bogidas [bodegas] of the Bronx."

The pandering racism is a feature of the public comments.

So, let's check in with what Joe said at the event.

Biden seems to think that in recognition of a Mexican holiday, people want to hear about how he's helping out illegal aliens. The problem? Most Americans have an issue with illegal immigration, maybe particularly people who immigrated or whose ancestors immigrated legally. And it doesn't have anything to do with the holiday, that celebrates Mexico's win over France at the Battle of Puebla.

Let's hear Joe talk about how illegal aliens have been "model citizens." Listen to this bizarre jumble.

“Can you imagine a kid, two years old, saying, ‘Mom, don’t take me across the Rio Grande. It’s against the law.’ Give me a break,” Biden said.

No, Joe, the mom broke the law and no one is a citizen in this equation, much less a "model" one. The first obligation of the people sitting in your seat in the Oval Office is supposed to be defending the nation, not defending the people breaking the law and breaking into the nation. But in Joe's mind, everything is turned upside down and nothing is what it's supposed to be.

His failure to enforce the law has created a huge national crisis because of the flood of illegal immigration. But even here, he's laughing at the law and encouraging law-breaking, then asking that people vote for him.

Then there was this spew of lying about his opponent, former President Donald Trump.

Biden claimed Trump only reduced taxes for the wealthy, when in fact he reduced taxes for most Americans and Biden wants to let those tax cuts expire. So he would in essence raise taxes on people including Hispanics. He even lied about Trump wanting to raise the cost of insulin when it was Trump who brought the cost down to $35. He (Biden) temporarily stopped that.

But Biden even forgets to say "insulin" when he's talking about it. He couldn't even keep his lie straight.

He also lied about Trump cutting Social Security and Medicare. He then made this ominous comment, "I have one really serious idea of how to cut. The candidate" meaning Trump. Some might take that as a threat, particularly when Democrats are already targeting Trump with lawfare, and even tried to boot him off the ballot.

And he laughs about it like it's funny. It's not funny to see what's happening, it's a danger to the very fabric of our nation.

He also offensively equates illegal aliens with immigrants who went about coming here the right way and lies about what Trump has said on immigration. He also spoke about "family separation" policies when in fact he's "lost" more than 85,000 kids and has left the border a disaster. Here's how bad it was a year ago, and it's only gotten worse.

Then at the end of his remarks, he once again got confused and seemed unsure in which direction he was going.
