It's concerning when we have folks seeking to restrict our Second Amendment rights. Maybe even more so when we see how ignorant the people in power who are looking at these issues are about guns.
I wrote last week about how Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson somehow thought that bump stocks would make a gun fire 800 rounds a second during oral arguments in the bump stock ban case. How can you render any intelligent decision on the subject if you are that clueless? That's a huge problem.

Justice Jackson's Comment About Bump Stocks Just May Be the Most Ignorant Thing You've Ever Heard
The Biden Administration is similarly ignorant. We see that with Joe Biden and his constant malarkey about guns. He's always saying things that aren't true. Here's one ridiculous example from last year:

But you'd like to think that the guys in charge of dealing with gun crimes might know what the heck they are talking about. However, not so much, if the appearance on "Face the Nation" of ATF Director Steve Dettelbach and Chris Bort, the acting chief of ATF's Firearms Ammunition Technology Division is any indication, as our sister site Townhall reported.
Conservative communicator Steve Guest pointed out the problem.
ATF Director Steven Dettelbach went on CBS's Face The Nation & displayed a shocking ignorance of firearms while trying to gin up fear to strip us of our Second Amendment rights.

It should scare everyone that Dettelbach doesn't know the difference between a clip & a magazine. pic.twitter.com/0cABaCZ2sT
People weighed in on the fear-mongering and the ignorance of the appearance. There was a lot but here are some of the highlights.
As Guest, the NRA, and others noted Dettelbach didn't seem to know the difference between a clip and a magazine.

Then Bort had real trouble trying to dissemble a Glock.
WATCH: Chris Bort—the acting chief of the ATF's Firearms Ammunition Technology Division—struggled at disassembling a Glock style handgun during a made-for-tv scaremongering interview with Steven Dettelbach, the director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms on CBS News. pic.twitter.com/rzcZ0lFGmB

Guest also called out Dettelbach for not appearing to understand a pistol brace.
Dettelbach also doesn't know what a pistol brace is.

It's an understatement to call it an embarrassment. He is the head of the ATF.
The ATF in conjunction with CBS also made a belt fed machine gun the centerpiece on the table to scare folks who aren't familiar with firearms.
They apparently wanted to spread things out on a table that they thought would look scary to the uninitiated and would frighten Americans, and the gun-knowledgable folks weren't having it. Unfortunately, Margaret Brennan didn't know enough to check what they were telling her.
But it's scary when you have folks that don't know what they're talking about who are in power, and that seems to be rampant when it comes to the Biden team.
