Well-Off Celebrity Alyssa Milano Asks for Donations to GoFundMe for Her Kid's Team to Go to Cooperstown

We've written about actress/podcaster Alyssa Milano in the past, mostly because she seems to have a gift for saying silly liberal things. Her comments are generally sort of virtue-signaling nonsense that just goes along with whatever the Left's cause of the moment is, such as calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war, because she thinks that means "peace" and "love."

She doesn't consider it means leaving terrorists in place for more attacks and death, nor does she realize a ceasefire means that Hamas would continue stealing from and oppressing the poor people living in Gaza.

Alyssa Milano Throws a Virtue Signaling Fit at Elon Musk, and He Has Thoughts

And while that is ridiculous, it pales in comparison to what she posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday. Notice, she's still there on X, despite it being in the hands of that "evil" guy, Elon Musk.

Alyssa Milano is reportedly worth about $10 million, and her husband David Bugliari is also well-off - he's apparently the co-head of motion picture talent at a top talent agency, Creative Artists Agency.

So why is she asking for money for her son's team so they could go on a trip? I'd also note a couple of interesting things about the GoFundMe -- the team isn't listed as the beneficiary, but her husband is. This is how she describes what they want.

Baseball is life and our teamates are our brothers. Baseball gives us purpose and we are driven to be our very best. In order to compete, we must raise funds. [....]

Our coaches instill lessons not just about baseball. They teach us leadership and life-skills. They are good people. We are lucky to have them.

We hope you will make a donation to keep our team competitive. Your donation will go to travel costs, uniforms, and dues for families. We also might use your donations for pins or novelty items to make our tournaments memorable experiences beyond the field.

So most people when they "raise funds" -- work for it, they don't beg for it from people who have less money than they do. Kids wash cars, hold raffles, do carnivals, all kinds of things to raise money. Why can't Milano contribute/pay for her own kid's uniforms and dues? And she claims they need pins or novelty items, too. Is she kidding?

You have folks struggling in Joe Biden's economy, and she wants them to donate for this? She only put $10,000 as a goal. Why can't they work for that? Or why can't she pay for it?

People on X were astounded by the audacity of it all and she got ratioed to the moon on it, with over 10.5 million views on her post. She ended up shutting off her replies. But she still didn't reach the GoFundMe goal. She did get money from donors like "Trump 2024," "Brett Kavanaugh," and "Anthony Fauci," though.
