We've written before about former President Bill Clinton's relationship to Jeffrey Epstein.

Now he's about to be revealed as "John Doe 36" on the list of names related to Epstein that come from court documents related to a 2015 lawsuit by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre, according to a new report.

Here's a picture of "Doe 36" on Jeffrey Epstein's plane with him.

We've reported on that list before; it's been a long time coming.

According to the report, Clinton's name is mentioned more than 50 times in court documents — some of which are redacted. Some of the mentions in the documents are related to Giuffre's effort to compel Clinton to testify against Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

About 170 names are expected to come out. The names include more Epstein associates, alleged perpetrators, alleged co-conspirators, alleged victims, witnesses, and former Epstein employees. Some of the people are now dead. The names are expected to be revealed starting Jan. 2.

Among the other names is Prince Andrew.

Giuffre also accused Epstein and Maxwell of directing her to have sex with Prince Andrew and several other prominent men. Prince Andrew denied the allegations and claimed he could not recall ever meeting Giuffre. He later settled a lawsuit she filed against him.

The records are expected to contain more details from a "John Doe" witness who was at a gathering where Giuffre says she was told to have sex with Prince Andrew.

While the records are not expected to reveal criminal conduct by Clinton, Giuffre did claim that she saw Clinton on Epstein's island when she, Epstein, and two young girls were there. The question of his presence on the island was part of some of the court battle with Maxwell. Giuffre was never able to get Clinton in to testify under oath about whether he was on the island. So more may come out on that battle, and I'd be curious to know what's in the redacted parts — if we ever get to see them.

Maxwell denied Clinton was on the island. As we've reported before, flight logs revealed that Clinton had flown 26 times on Epstein's plane, although Clinton claimed he had only taken four trips. But the logs that have been revealed so far don't show that he'd been on the island.

But as we also reported, his former body man, Doug Band, claimed that Clinton had been on the island. Clinton's team denied that and argued that travelogue entries from that time disputed the claim. Epstein also visited the Clinton White House at least 17 times, and Ghislaine Maxwell was invited to Chelsea Clinton's wedding.

Clinton doesn't appear to be commenting on the new report, at least not so far. I think he's likely hoping it will all go away, but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon.
