Biden Flips His Lid and Tells a Whopper About U.S. Catholic Bishops

We’ve seen it over and over again. Joe Biden doesn’t like to be challenged and told that he’s wrong. When that happens, he will respond with anger and/or a lie to cover himself. It’s a deep and pervasive problem in his psyche that we’ve seen since at least his first presidential run back in 1987 when he was challenged about his educational background. That’s when he responded with a lot of lies: about being in the top half of his class, having three degrees, being on a full academic scholarship, etc. All of which were lies. He then had to drop out of the race for those and other lies.

As his cognitive issues have gotten worse, he had more of these episodes. As I wrote earlier, he told another wild Amtrak story, claiming that Amtrak engineers gave him a key to their back area, so he was the only one who could get in the back, other than them. Does anyone believe that any engineer/conductor would do that, particularly given federal laws? But Joe keeps needing to affirm for himself that he’s special.

But then when he was challenged about federal funding for abortion and told that the Catholic bishops were against that, he flipped out. Biden got mad, “No, they are not all doing that, nor is the Pope doing that.”

Warning about the helicopter sound on these videos:

Is he suggesting that the U.S. Catholic bishops are not against funding for abortion? And that the pope is cool with funding abortion? Has he been listening at all when he’s in church or looked at all at the position of the Church on abortion? Yes, Joe, the Catholic bishops are “doing that.”

The U.S. bishops are urging Congress to permanently ban the use of taxpayer dollars for abortion through the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act.

Bishop Michael Burbidge of Arlington, Virgina, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Pro-Life Committee, issued a letter Friday to House and Senate leaders supporting the legislation to permanently ban taxpayer funding of abortion.

In his letter, Burbidge said that the “government should never fund the destruction of innocent preborn children” and that “congressional action is required.”

When the Conference of Catholic Bishops issues a statement, that’s “the Catholic bishops,” Joe. I had to make sure I used “the” to annoy “the” AP who discovered some problem with people using it. I think it’s likely that Biden feels guilty about what he has done with abortion, given it’s against his Catholic faith and that explains the anger. He knows he’s in the wrong and doesn’t want to be called out by the bishops or the Pope on it.

Reporters also slipped in some other questions. Biden was asked if he would give testimony to the special counsel and just blew off that question.

“Oh, I don’t even know about the special counsel,” Biden said.

Does he not know what they are talking about? Did his team brief him as to what was going on? That was an interesting response. Because the proper political response would have been, “I will be fully cooperative.” But he didn’t say that. He’s likely hoping he gets a free pass and is never questioned under oath about any of his classified document scandal. I would imagine that would not go well.
