It’s often hard to know what Kamala Harris is doing in her job since she never seems to have any results to produce. Her job to do something about the border has to have been one of the biggest failures ever with the border out of control. She’s also supposed to be doing something as the Chair of the National Space Council but doesn’t seem to have produced much apart from a couple of embarrassing videos talking with kid actors and then trying to tell people about space.

On Monday, Harris attended what was supposed to be the launch of the Artemis rocket. Artemis will play a role in putting humans back on the moon. However, as with anything Harris connected, the launch failed. There were engine cooling issues and they had to postpone to a later date.

But Harris tried to spin a word salad about what had been achieved with the failure.

It might work a little better when you have a successful launch?

She’s getting worse with the waving of the arms. When I see that, I think of the scene in the film “Problem Child” where Gilbert Gottfried starts waving his arms around and Junior imitates him saying, “Maybe if I shrug my shoulders and move around my hands like this, maybe people will think I know what I’m talking about.” That’s what it’s like.

Even Politico Playbook reported, “There have occasionally been snickers about the fact that the VP chairs the administration’s National Space Council” because no one is sure what it is that she’s doing.

Even before the launch failed, it wasn’t going well. When Harris arrived with her husband the day before the launch, she cluelessly committed leftist gender sacrilege. See if you can pick it up here, in amongst the word salad.

People throughout all of history used to understand that the term “mankind” referred to everyone, to every human. At least that was true until along came the woke left who decided it didn’t. So there’s Kamala Harris, stepping in quickly to say “womenkind” as well. But in so doing, she seems to be implicitly recognizing there are two genders. She’s leaving out the leftist homage to the non-binary, the two-spirit, and the 32 other flavors. Paging the leftist gender police, we have a violation here.

Someone did manage to sneak in a question about student debt amongst the space stuff. A reporter asked Harris who is going to end up paying for all this windfall for the people who get this benefit from the Democrats. Naturally, no one on the Biden team has wanted to answer that question since the answer is that all of the rest of us are going to have to pay so that a select few can get some of their debt canceled. That way, Biden can try to buy votes for the Democrats. But I think the move is going to have the opposite effect and potentially hurt the Democrats in the midterms when people get not only is Biden crushing them with inflation but on top of that he’s making them pay for other people’s debt.

Harris was no different; she didn’t want to answer that question with a ten-foot pole.

According to the Penn Wharton model, it may run as much as $1 trillion. That’s going to drive inflation through the roof again and cost all of us even more.

Harris deflected to criticize the 2017 tax cut. Unlike the student debt bailout, the tax cut was legal and benefitted 80 percent of Americans directly and all Americans by empowering the economy. It also isn’t the role of the government to pay off the debt that private individuals voluntarily incur. If you take this route, why not pay off mortgages or car debt? Moreover, the Penn Wharton model is saying that 70 percent of the benefits of the bailout are going to the top 60 percent of earners. So the Biden team isn’t even being straight with us on that.
