Radio Producer Busts Excuse of Dem Who Flipped off GOP During Congressional Baseball Game

I reported on the nasty move that Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA) made during the Congressional Baseball Game, flipping off the Republicans in their dugout. This was a ridiculous action to take when you’re playing the game for charity, including helping kids. It’s also supposed to be about unity, coming together on the field of sport, but she managed to blow that, too.

At the point she made the gesture, the Democrats were down 5-0, so maybe she’s just a sore loser. What a role model she was, and she got a lot of deserved criticism for her actions. The Democrats ended up getting blown out in the game, as well, 10-0.

But now she’s added to the issue that she created. After she was confronted with criticism for her rude action, she’s now making a laughable excuse that someone made an “offensive and misogynistic” comment to her.

From Outkick:

“The Congressional Baseball Game is one of my favorite events of the year. It’s a great cause and brings both sides of the aisle together for a night off from partisan politics. That is why it really struck a nerve when I heard an offensive and misogynistic comment from the Republican side on my way back to the dugout. In the heat of the moment, I reacted. I have no tolerance for men who make women feel like they are unimportant or don’t belong – especially on the field. I will always stand against that kind of bigotry,” Sanchez said in a statement released to the media Friday.

But she wouldn’t clarify what was said or who she thinks said it, so I believe that like I believe that Joe Biden is fully competent.

David Hookstead at “Outkick” made multiple calls to Sanchez to ask about what was said–and she did not respond.

But a local radio producer who was in the dugout with the Republicans, Corey Inganamort, said that Sanchez was lying and nothing was said.”Everyone was shocked by what she did,” he said.

The thing is, even if it were true, the proper response is not to flip people off like that, but to be the adult. So, she doesn’t help herself much with this excuse. She showed that she failed at being an adult–and added lying into the bargain.
