BREAKING: 'Person of Interest' Identified in Brooklyn Subway Attack

There has now been a person of interest identified in the Brooklyn subway shooting attack.

It should be noted that police are not saying that this guy is the shooter at this point. They are saying they are interested in this guy because he rented the van that was found in Gravesend that they believe was involved.

The authorities are also saying there were some concerning posts about homelessness and Mayor Eric Adams — which may have been made by James — that have prompted them to increase security around Adams.

Newsweek has some additional concerning news:

A federal law enforcement source told Newsweek that a suspect in Tuesday morning’s Brooklyn subway attack was previously known to the FBI and was entered into the Guardian Lead system in New Mexico though he was cleared after multiple interviews in 2019.

Now the only name we know at this point is James, but it’s not clear if that’s who this is referring to.

James is 62 years old.

According to the police, James has ties to Philadelphia and Wisconsin. They also recovered a Glock 17, 3 extended mags, 33 shell casings, 2 detonated smoke grenades, a hatchet, gasoline, and a U-Haul key at the scene.
