Biden COVID Tests Will Finally Be Available, but You Won't Need Them by the Time They Arrive

We’ve been covering all the lies and twists and turns of the Biden team’s promises when it comes to COVID tests.

So, we wanted to tell you that the Biden Administration finally has its website, COVIDtests.gov, up through which you can order COVID test kits for free to be delivered to your home. But you wouldn’t be able to order any until next week, Jan. 19.

But as with anything to do with Biden, there are a few caveats.

First, you are only accorded four tests per household. So if you have more than a couple of people in your home or you need more than a couple of tests, you may be out of luck or you have to find another address to use.

The White House added that it will prioritize orders and send tests first to “households experiencing the highest social vulnerability and in communities that have experienced a disproportionate share of COVID-19 cases and deaths, particularly during this omicron surge.”

Second, and this is the thing I find a bit astounding, they will ship first class, within 7-12 days typically, after you order. Notice that says “ship” — not even deliver necessarily. So, if the purpose is to test someone after they feel they might have gotten the virus, by the time you get the test, you could be done with the virus. You’re not getting it in any kind of a timely manner. It makes this method irrelevant.

People immediately saw the problem with it.

What that will mean is that once people realize that, they will pre-order the tests and crash the site once it opens, which isn’t how you’re supposed to be using the tests. So I wouldn’t bet on even the estimated 7-12 days to start with. The tests are supposed to be used if people have cause/reason/symptoms — not just for people to randomly test themselves. And of course, there will be scams that figure their way around this, and shanghai some of them for profit.

Now, there are a lot of questions about the utility of tests, and they should have been focused more on treatments all this time since there are effective treatments out there. But they’re screwing that up too , with their inability to meet the situation without dumb rules. But if they were going to make testing a centerpiece of what they were doing, they should have had a partnership with pharmacies, so pharmacies would have them available when people needed them. That would have been the simplest thing.

If you click around on their site, you can also learn how to become a part of the “COVID community corp” to propagandize the religion to folks to get vaccinated and boosted. They’re even reaching out to high school kids, 16 years old and up, to proselytize to their fellow students.

So, here’s a small prediction. Meet me back here on Jan. 19, when we will be talking all about the problems with the site. These are the Obamacare folks, and I have a feeling I’m not the only one with a long memory of that debacle.
