Ted Cruz Nails Ron Klain for Accidentally Revealing Intent to Skirt Constitution on Vaccine Mandate

Joe Biden made it clear, once again, that he doesn’t care about the Constitution and the legality of what he does, he only cares about getting what he wants in a stunning dictatorial effort to mandate vaccines on approximately 100 million Americans. He’s mandating it on all federal employees and all contractors who have business with the government. He’s mandating vaccines or constant testing for any private business that has more than 100 employees, declaring an emergency rule under OSHA, which would apply to about 80 million people. Finally, he’s also imposing mandatory vaccines on about 17 million people who work for health facilities that accept Medicare or Medicaid.

If a private business were to violate this mandate, it could also face fines of up to $14,000 for each offense.

But the Biden Administration knows this is of dubious legality and they essentially just admitted the OSHA effort is an effort to make an end-run around the Constitution. The oft-reported power behind the throne, White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain, retweeted MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle, who posted, “OSHA doing this vaxx mandate as an emergency workplace safety rule is the ultimate work-around for the Federal govt to require vaccinations.”

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) saw that retweet and then pointed out how this shows intent which would likely be considered in the upcoming legal battle over this mandate by federal courts, that Klain had just stepped in it, big time. “Important,” Cruz tweeted. “Foolish RT from WH chief of staff. He said the quiet part out loud. Biden admin knows it’s likely illegal (like the eviction moratorium) but they don’t care.”

Cruz pointed to the eviction moratorium, where Biden had also essentially admitted he knew it wasn’t legal but was using his new order to buy time until SCOTUS would rule against it. In ruling against the stay on the moratorium, SCOTUS blocked the Biden team and made it clear that they believed Biden was using the CDC to overreach and impose a power it didn’t have. The Court noted that if you allowed this line of thought, you were basically giving the CDC unprecedented power over virtually anything.

Could the CDC, for example, mandate free grocery delivery to the homes of the sick or vulnerable? Require manufacturers to provide free computers to enable people to work from home? Order telecommunications companies to provide free high-speed Internet service to facilitate remote work?

The overreach opens the door to all kinds of abuse and control. Biden knows it, but once again, he’s banking that even if he loses, then he can blame the SCOTUS and say it’s not his fault for any continuing issues with the virus. He’s playing to his base here, but he’s also going to tick off everybody else and further tank the economy and his poll numbers. But now you see why he continues to fail — both he and his Chief of Staff are incompetent and have no regard for the law.
