Joe Biden finally admitted that there was a crisis at the border.

Of course, as we explained, he only did that as an excuse to the left as to why he hadn’t kept his promise yet to raise the refugee cap. He argued he couldn’t do it while they had a “crisis” at the border. But he changed his mind anyway and said now he would be lifting the cap next month, regardless of the ongoing border crisis.

This is typical Joe, disregard reality and what we’re seeing for some kind of Orwellian spin. We’ve seen a lot of Orwellian language-changing under Joe Biden. They simply declare it not a crisis by calling it a “circumstance.” Do away with past definitions of what “infrastructure” means — it now means “anything that Joe Biden’s handlers say it means.”

But changing the language means they’re actually doing something, they would have you believe.

What’s the real problem with illegal aliens flooding the border? The fact that we call them illegal aliens.

The Washington Post got the scoop and broke it down. The Biden regime dictated to ICE and the CBP that they had to change their language, that they should stop using words like “illegal alien” and “assimilation.”

The heads of ICE and the CBP detailed the new directive in memos to their people.

From Washington Post:

“As the nation’s premier law enforcement agency, we set a tone and example for our country and partners across the world,” Troy Miller, CBP’s top official, said in his memo. “We enforce our nation’s laws while also maintaining the dignity of every individual with whom we interact. The words we use matter and will serve to further confer that dignity to those in our custody.” [….}

ICE acting director Tae Johnson echoed those words in a separate memo, saying, “In response to the vision set by the Administration, ICE will ensure agency communications use the preferred terminology and inclusive language.”

Yay, we’re inclusive! And we stopped the flood how? I guess the next move, on the road they’re on, is simply to declare people Americans once they set foot on our soil. Then there is no “crisis.” Voila! Then we’re really all-in on Orwell.
