Folks on the left were fond of bandying about the claim that President Donald Trump was somehow a dictator, despite there never really being anything he did that even came close to anything a dictator would do.
So now, let’s fast forward to today, where Joe Biden and Democrats are making every move they can to grab complete and total power from trying to eliminate the filibuster in the Senate to basically a national takeover of election rules; they are doing what they can to consolidate their power.
Today, the announcement of what Biden wants to do with the Supreme Court just shows how scary these attempts to ‘remake America’ are. Biden is “signing an executive order forming the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States, comprised of a bipartisan group of experts on the Court and the Court reform debate.”

Let’s start off with the basic principle that the Supreme Court doesn’t need remaking by Democrats. The whole purpose of the Supreme Court was to be independent of political influence, hence the lifetime appointments. But it’s not liberal enough for them, so they’re going to do what they can to try to reorder it to their liking. This is anti-Constitutional and dangerous for us all.
Bipartisan experts? Yes, tell me another one and I have a bridge in Brooklyn I want to sell you. Any actual “expert” would heed the words of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who warned against such anti-Constitutional efforts. Nobody who cares about the Court or their own reputation would be involved in any such effort.
What do they intend to look at?
“[T]he length of service and turnover of justices on the Court; the membership and size of the Court; and the Court’s case selection, rules, and practices.”
We may not be always happy with the decisions of the Court. But if they start packing the Court and changing even what cases they may take, we’re done and the country as we know it is done. The Constitution is done.
Americans previously had showed overwhelmingly in polls they were against this kind of an effort; but that isn’t going to stop Democrats in their mad race for dictatorial powers. It shouldn’t even be about that, because it really isn’t about public opinion or whoever has the power of the moment. That’s the whole point of the Supreme Court, to be a bulwark against such political waves, where only the law and the Constitution is supposed to matter.
Remember how during the campaign, Biden refused to answer this question, knowing that packing the Court or changing it wasn’t popular? Well, looks like we got his answer. Not that we didn’t know what it was anyway.

Just depends on how it’s handled. In other words, if Democrats gain control and get more power, then it’s good. And in any event you didn’t deserve to know.

All hands need to be on deck to fight this dictator effort.
President Biden wants to radicalize the Supreme Court.

A total coincidence that on the same day Biden launches a court-packing commission, a Biden-affiliated dark money group starts a campaign to force Breyer to retire https://t.co/v2HlohD15P pic.twitter.com/LRABqTHO5R
