As we have previously reported, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has been one of the people calling out the problem at the border. In fact, he’s down at the border today with a congressional delegation to visit the CBP facilities and calling for Joe Biden to address the crisis happening there.
He took some video actually on the border, at the river, where he talked about human traffickers cartels on the other side, who were yelling at him taunting the border patrol on the U.S. side.

We encountered human traffickers & cartel members tonight, yelling at us across the Rio Grande and preparing to cross. #BidenBorderCrisis pic.twitter.com/yXl3AyUIPd

He’s right, 100,000 came across last month and 15,000 kids are in various facilities in federal custody.
Cartels are responsible for all of these folks coming across and are making a ton of money in the process as Cruz explains and as we previously reported – and responsible for many deaths, including the death of a person whose body was found in the river by the congressional delegation.
These are some of the first pictures from the GOP delegation. It’s horrific. This is what is being inspired by the Biden policies. This is what they’re claiming isn’t a crisis.
These are the pictures the Biden administration doesn’t want the American people to see. This is why they won’t allow the press.

Sadly it's worse than imagined, to the point where @CBP has been forced to house migrants under a bridge. https://t.co/vkr86cB20e pic.twitter.com/56tfVF44Pe

The inflow has gotten so bad, @CBP has put arrows on the U.S. side of the Rio Grande directing immigrants to the processing facilities. Here is a picture of immigrants who just crossed the border following the arrows. pic.twitter.com/2DBgLU4Ixs

These are the kids in CBP custody before being sent on to the HHS facilities. Many have already been held here longer than the law allows because of the overflow.
Here is a scheme human and drug smugglers typically run every night. They force a group of children and others to occupy @CBP while they sneak through at another location. pic.twitter.com/cAQmEY609S

So what was the Democratic response to this? With notable exceptions like Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX), who is doing everything he can to call attention to it, it’s to be completely political and spin for Biden. To act as though this doesn’t exist.
Check out this response from Beto O’Rourke who wanted Cruz’s job and thankfully lost. Because Beto clearly has no idea what he is talking about. He’s literally denying the danger of the cartels there.
You’re in a Border Patrol boat armed with machine guns.
The only threat you face is unarmed children and families who are seeking asylum (as well as the occasional heckler).
If you’re looking for a crisis to cosplay Senator for, I’m happy to point you in the right direction. https://t.co/mDyWs6rQOM

He’s so anxious to try to one-up Cruz with the quip, he doesn’t care about the danger the cartels present to the U.S. and the CBP, as well as the danger the cartels present to the people being trafficked.
But maybe don’t mock about cosplay when you have pictures like this in your closet, Beto?
Well, Beto would know quite a bit about cosplay. pic.twitter.com/o5CFgqa7Go

This is a serious crisis; there are adults in the GOP trying to call attention to it. So maybe take your furry costume and go away, Beto.
