In light of all the scandal rocking New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo including the nursing home scandal and the allegations of sexual harassment, a video has emerged from 2016 that has gone viral and is being termed by some as creepy.

It involves Cuomo sitting with several people including his daughter Michaela at a dinner table at the New York State Fair in 2016. He’s talking with a local reporter and encouraging her to eat a sausage sandwich. He repeatedly tells her he wants her to eat the “the whole sausage” and his daughter appears to look at him with a side eye when he’s saying that. Cuomo also says, “Oh, yeah” at various points.

“I want to see you eat the whole sausage,” Cuomo says says to reporter Beth Cefalu, as his daughter sits quietly next to him, according to the video shared by journalist Matt Binder.

“I don’t know if I should eat the whole sausage in front of you, but I’m definitely going to eat it,” she responds.

Cuomo then asks Cefalu to sit and eat. She then takes a selfie of her, the governor and the sandwich.

“There’s too much sausage in that picture,” Cuomo says, eliciting laughter from some at the table. Cringe.

According to the Daily Mail, Cefalu has now said that she didn’t feel that she was harassed or pressured, and that it was a fun event at the fair to eat the sausage.

Others are not as sure in retrospect, given the allegations now being made against the governor, as we reported here.

When I look at it, it seems to me that the daughter gets it and that he’s using the event to sort of throw out creepy double entendres, knowing that nobody else at that table was going to call him on it.

Bottom line? It just adds another piece to the whole picture of Andrew Cuomo, which was already a substantial case that of being a horrible disgusting human being. The facts of the nursing home scandal were alone enough to be able to conclude that, even before the allegations of threats to other Democrats and sexual harassment of multiple women were thrown in. The way he interacts here makes it completely believable, to me, that he could have made the comments that Lindsey Boylan said he did about the cigar box and Bill Clinton, which she took as a double entendre come-on.
