Kevin McCarthy Blasts Pelosi for a Lot of Pork, Very Little 'Relief' in Bill, Lays Her Out In Verbal Battle

On Saturday during a CPAC panel, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy stated flatly that the Republicans were going to win the House back in 2022. In fact, he said he was so sure of it, he was willing to bet his house on it, according to Newsweek.

“We’re going to get the majority back. We’re five seats away,” McCarthy said. “I would bet my house. My personal house. Don’t tell my wife, but I will bet it. This is the smallest majority the Democrats have had in 100 years.”

It’s quite possible. The Republicans had a huge red wave in 2020 in the House, picking up 15 seats. They didn’t lose one seat that had been deemed a toss-up. Add to that by 2022, we’re going to, unfortunately, have a lot of bad decisions from Joe Biden that are going to be animating voters to vote Democrats out.

So what was the response from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Delusional-CA)?

“No one should be surprised the Minority Leader is willing to wager his home. McCarthy doesn’t have much to give after sacrificing his integrity trying to cancel $1400 survival checks for Americans trying to make ends meet during a deadly pandemic,” said the statement emailed by Robyn Patterson, Pelosi’s deputy communications director.

That, of course, falsely misrepresents both the bill which, as always with Democrats was a pork-zilla of a bill, and McCarthy’s position on it.

Pretty disgraceful as this graphic shows, with according to McCarthy, only 9% going to actual relief

Why is Pelosi putting a subway for her district in the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill?

If what the Democrats was putting forth was so great for America, why were they asking for members to vote on it in the dark of night at 2 a.m. in the morning? The answer is because they didn’t want people to see all the nonsense in it that weren’t actually going to the people who the bill is supposed to be providing for.

McCarthy had a great response to Pelosi’s cutting remark about wagering his house and he “doesn’t have much to give.”

In other words, McCarthy hasn’t grown rich in his years as a politician, like some who have multiple mansions and incredibly expensive freezers stocked with designer ice cream at $13/pint. But Democrats don’t have an issue with the pork, just like apparently they had no issue with Pelosi’s husband buying call options of Tesla a month before Joe Biden signed an executive order directing federal officials to transition federal, state, local and tribal government fleets to “clean and zero-emission vehicles.”

On top of all that, they’re not even giving people the $2000 that Biden originally promised, another promise broken. So they diminished that, while upping the pork.
