No, neither Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) nor Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) are seditionists, no matter how many times crazy folks on the left like to throw that term around. Hawley objected to the electoral count for Pennsylvania and Arizona, Cruz objected to Arizona. It’s more than a little hypocritical of Democrats to suggest that makes them seditionists when it’s completely within the constitutional process, not to mention that Democrats including House impeachment manager Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) objected to Trump and Democrats objected to far more states in 2017 than did the GOP in 2021.
But that reality didn’t stop Lincoln Project senior advisor Kurt Bardella. The Lincoln Project folks have been having a little difficulty with reality of late.
a picture is worth a thousand words…
Josh Hawley is a seditionist who supports white nationalism. https://t.co/HL4nUd4yXk pic.twitter.com/zkZI2xQtGX

So reality. We don’t know when this picture is from. But it’s obviously before any rioting. If he’s walking into the chamber, he’s not walking in when the riot was going on, so he’s not cheering rioters who haven’t happened yet. So dispense with that nonsense. Second, Bardella perpetrates this thing that Democrats and media are doing to call all the rioters and other people that were there “white nationalists.” That’s a smear, there’s no proof of that and it’s demonstrably untrue as you had folks that weren’t white there, like John Sullivan and plenty of folks who weren’t white nationalists. Third, claiming Hawley supports white nationalists is just ridiculous. It’s the new smear to smear people by the left.
What’s this crazy effort to try to go after Hawley for perfectly normal hand gestures, like pointing and like this?
But what’s funny about Bardella’s comment is he takes the fist as somehow a signal to ‘white nationalists’ when, if anything, it’s often a symbol frequently used by Bardella’s buddies on the left, as a socialist or black power fist.
You’re an idiot. 🙄🤨#ProgressiveBS #JoshHawley https://t.co/oif2Mv3BYS pic.twitter.com/LL3DsnopJm

LMFAO imagine calling yourself a “conservative” then declaring enforcing conservative ideals to be “sedition” and “white nationalism”. https://t.co/5Bj1ZF0gTg

Typical democrat response to an image that is normal for politicians of either side. But of course they only mean the bad things when republicans do it. The list of examples is endless… pic.twitter.com/xLBe3fezvJ

Seriously why are any of these Lincoln Project guys still talking? They should be slinking off in abject embarrassment for all that has gone on. They should be cleaning their own house, they have no standing to talk about anyone else, especially over ridiculous things like this. But you can tell how afraid they are of Hawley, otherwise they wouldn’t be trying to attack him.
You clown. MUH SEDITIONISTS! https://t.co/lX2lVvjD8L

The Deputy Communications director for the NRCC offered his own opinion of Bardella, citing a Washington Post segment referencing him.
