Joe Biden is at it again with yet another lie about the vaccination plan, claiming President Donald Trump didn’t have a plan, despite the demonstrable fact that Trump was getting about a million people vaccinated a day by the time that Biden came in and we wouldn’t even have the vaccines but for the historic speed of Trump’s Operation Warp Speed.

Biden stumbles over reading the teleprompter, talks about how it “takes a partnership, in our view” between the government and the private companies, with everyone “contributing to the vaccine effort,” that one couldn’t have imagined a little more than a year ago. There would be the appropriate time to say, “as my predecessor, President Donald Trump was able to achieve and enable us to have these vaccines.” He doesn’t say that, because he’s trying to leave the false impression that he’s the one who’s engineered that partnership. It’s the only reason to explain the constant lying on the subject.

That changed the moment we took office.”

Wow, referencing your mother while lying is a really bad look, Joe.

So pray tell, Joe, how did Trump manage to be getting about a million people vaccinated a day before you came in if there was no plan in place? And it “didn’t change the moment” they came in. Indeed, you were left with a plan. But they haven’t stopped whining, pretending like there was nothing and that they weren’t told anything ever since. Indeed Biden’s goal was what Trump had already achieved, the million a day goal.

Not only did they have a plan, they actually had a plan for every state, designed by each of the states so that it could be tailored to their particular needs and abilities. So not a top down imposed plan, but a tailored plan, which one would think to be even better. They prepared for it in September even before the vaccine was operational in December.

Even the WaPo acknowledged this in a fact check of Kamala Harris,  after she told a similar lie.

The Trump administration in September had asked states to develop individual plans for vaccinating citizens, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention worked with the states to refine and develop those plans. A 75-page playbook was published and then updated at the end of October.

When even the WaPo has to concede it’s a lie, you know the lie is pretty darn obvious. But Biden still keeps saying it and he’s not called on it on the networks when he does so. He knows he’s unlikely to be checked by anyone in the networks so they keep it up because they know they think they can hoodwink Americans.
