How bitter and TDS-ridden are folks on the left about President Donald Trump?

Well, a headline and article in Yahoo perhaps reveals how far over the slide some have gone.

News broke yesterday that President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump, Jr. had tested positive for the Wuhan coronavirus.

Now most normal people on both sides of the aisle would wish him well, perhaps even telling the president they wished his son well.

Not so much Yahoo.

Here’s the headline from the Yahoo article about the news: Former reality TV show host’s son tests positive for COVID-19.

Yes, that’s how they’re now trying to describe President Donald Trump. They’re so incapable of accepting the reality they can’t even put it in a headline and they’re hoping to obliterate his presidency simply by obstinacy.

The article itself is barely controlled vitriol, not news, as it mocks Trump, Trump, Jr and Rudy Giuliani. It accuses them of “downplay[ing] the seriousness of a pandemic that has already taken 1.34 million lives.” So downplayed it that Trump was declaring it a public health emergency, forming a task force to deal with it and cutting travel from China, all actions in January, while Joe Biden and his advisers were more concerned about offending China, calling the reaction from Trump ‘hysterical xenophobia.” Biden didn’t even agree that travel should be cut until April 2. That would have led to millions more cases and likely many more deaths. Meanwhile while Biden is spouting off, it’s Trump who has made the vaccines happen as a reality in historically record time.

They think they’re being funny with the headline and yes, we could laugh at people when they are this twisted. Trump has truly broken so many people. They simply refuse to live in reality.

But the sad thing about people who write things like the Yahoo article is that they’ve built Trump up as some kind of evil entity responsible for all the bad in the world. Yes, at some point, he will no longer be president. But they will still be the sad, twisted little people they are, and when they no longer have him to blame, and still find out they are the same unhappy people, it’s going to be a rude awakening for them. CNN, MSNBC and folks like the guy who wrote this article will be completely lost without anyone to attack. All they’ll have is their own inadequacies.
