As folks are fond of saying, it’s the economy, stupid.

It’s always the economy. There may be other things that factor into it. But it’s always the economy when it comes to the presidential elections.

So in the final run down to the election, we need to keep pounding that home to everyone, it’s Trump who built the most powerful economy that we had prior to the virus. And it’s only because it is Trump that it’s come largely back.

Can you imagine if Joe Biden were in power, what a hole we would be in?

But one of the things that empowered that booming economy was the Trump tax cuts.

Biden has promised to repeal the Trump tax cuts. Kamala Harris reiterated that promise during the VP debate.

If they fulfill that, they will raise taxes on most Americans since most Americans got the tax cut, some 82%, immediately harming those Americans and the economy.

ABC’s Jon Karl committed some journalism today and asked Biden campaign co-chair Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-LA), almost apologetically, but he still asked, doesn’t Biden’s plan obviously raise taxes on most Americans if you repeal the Trump tax cuts? Not just those making more than $400,000?

Richmond responds that’s our “goal” but “on day 1” you’ll see our plan. So why can’t we see it now? How do they intend to repeal the tax cuts yet not raise taxes? That’s just obvious nonsense. They’ll tell you. After you elect them. You have to elect them to see what they’ll do. Are they kidding with this?

They think they can get him in without having to be straight or go on record with anything.

But this needs to be driven home to anyone you know that might be on the fence – there’s no way that Biden doesn’t raise your taxes, he’s literally told people he will.

From ATR:

A repeal of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act would impose a large tax increase on the American people. Thanks to the tax cuts, a typical family of four earning the median family income of $73,000 saw a tax cut of over $2,000– a 58% reduction in federal taxes. A single parent with one child with annual income of $41,000 saw a tax cut of $1,304 — a 73% reduction in federal taxes.

As noted by the New York Times: “Most people got a tax cut.” The NYT also stated: “To a large degree, the gap between perception and reality on the tax cuts appears to flow from a sustained — and misleading — effort by liberal opponents of the law to brand it as a broad middle-class tax increase.” Biden is a key part of this misleading effort.

Biden also repeated a lie he made during his campaign kickoff speech, claiming only high-income households received a tax cut. The Washington Post gave this claim four Pinocchios, noting it was “clearly false.” The Post also stated: “Most Americans received a tax cut.”

There’s just no way this is true: either they have to drop the claim they intend to repeal the tax cuts or they have to admit that they’re not only raising taxes on those above $400,000.

Who would vote for this? Biden would put the stake through the heart of the economy trying to recover after the pandemic.
