The Left has been losing their minds as it became clear that Republicans intended to go ahead with confirming a Trump nominee as Supreme Court Justice to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg, especially after it became clear that they likely have the votes to do so when folks like Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO)and Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) weighed in. Today, Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) put the icing on the cake on that, saying he too would be in favor. Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Lindsey Graham (R-SC) flamed the Democrats, saying they had no standing to object to anything after the way they treated Brett Kavanaugh.

It perhaps stands to reason that the folks over at CNN are among those melting down.

Once upon a time, it used to be a news organization, but it’s long since become a Democratic advocacy channel as we can see in an exchange between Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon.

First, Chris Cuomo railed against Republican senators. This wasn’t reporting news, it was encouraging viewers to vote against Republicans. Republicans should demand equal time in kind for the Democratic promotion here.

Not to mention that he’s wrong, that it’s Democrats trying to upset the Constitution with the aid of the media like him promoting them.

But then as he and Don Lemon discussed what radical change was needed, Lemon said, “We’re going to have to blow up the entire system.”

Cuomo wasn’t quite ready to go there, “I don’t know about that.”

Lemon then said, “You know what we’re going to have to do?… You’re going to have to get rid of the electoral college,” Lemon continued. “Because the minority in this country get to decide who our judges are and who our president is. Is that fair?”

Yes. It’s called the Constitution. It isn’t the “minority,” it’s the way the system has always worked including when the Democrats were elected to the presidency. Win more states if you want to win. Trump won the majority of states and got the votes.

Cuomo explained to Lemon that you couldn’t just get rid of the Electoral College, that you needed a constitutional amendment. “If Joe Biden wins, Democrats can stack the courts and they can do that amendment and get it passed,” Lemon claimed, revealing how ignorant he was.

Cuomo poo pooed that, noting the requirements that would be needed to get it passed which they weren’t going to get. It was very clear that Lemon had no idea of what was required. When even Fredo has to explain things to you, you need to start studying up.

But this is where they are at now. If we don’t get what we want, blow it all up and destroy the Constitution until we do.
