As we previously reported there were were some folks buying masks demanding we all “Trust Fauci” because we must “trust scientists” whether they are right to not, elected or not.
A Los Angeles clothing company Canava has taken the “pandemic cult” even a step further.
They are putting out a limited edition of women’s underpants so you can show your appreciation for people who have “impressed” them during the pandemic – Dr. Anthony Fauci, California Governor Gavin Newsom or New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
From Daily Wire:
Canava wrote, “We are living in unlikely times, and we heard you loud and clear that you wanted to show their ‘appreciation’ with more than a thank you,” in its product description for Fauci bikini briefs.
For its NYC special edition, Canava wrote, “For all those ‘thirsty’ for Andrew Cuomo we’ve got the perfect way for you to show your appreciation. Put his name on your undies! Governor Andrew Cuomo has proven to be a bright spot in an otherwise insane time and we want to celebrate him while also giving back so we’re matching dollar for dollar any NYC Limited Edition product purchased with an equal product donation to healthcare workers in the NYC area, we want them to be able to rest, recharge and relax when they get home.”
For its California limited edition, Canava wrote, “Consider yourselves heard. There are lots of you loving on Governor Gavin Newsom (we understand you), so we rushed to make sure there’s a way to show your love. With these limited edition undies, you can represent while also giving back because we’re matching dollar for dollar any California Limited Edition product purchased.”
Um, really? Not a cult, not a cult.
While it’s great they want to do matching donations, Cuomo and Newsom really have left a great deal to be desired in terms of how they have dealt with the pandemic. Newsom has been better than Cuomo in keeping deaths down, but Cuomo has been absolutely abysmal, after ordering nursing homes to take in patients who were positive for the virus. After he did that, thousands died in the nursing homes. After attention started being focused on him, the state changed the way they were counting nursing home deaths and deliberately began undercounting, not including the deaths if the nursing home residents died in the hospital, presumably the change came so it wouldn’t look so bad. That’s a huge scandal and one would think not really “underwear worthy.”
But mainstream media has painted Cuomo as a hero, even presidential, so reportedly his underwear is in the highest demand among the three.
Notice completely ignoring the governors with the lowest number of deaths and those who didn’t employ draconian measures, like Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem or Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
