Joe Biden has been having a tough time with his campaign in the midst of the Wuhan coronavirus.

The remaining primaries are in limbo, he can’t really campaign publicly (although that might be a benefit to him, because the less people see of him, the fewer possibilities for him to screw something up).

He’s been thinking about what he should do to get his campaign out there. But in so doing, he revealed how little he seemed to know about modern communication.

Just how out of it is Joe?

When asked what he was planning on doing he told reporters on a press call that he was looking into the question, that they were trying to set things up, but that that was “above my paygrade.” They tell me there’s ways we can do teleconferencing via us all being in different locations,” Biden said, according to the Washington Examiner.

Ya think? Nice to come up to speed, there, Joe. Really? He didn’t know about teleconferencing? I suppose we’re fortunate that he didn’t start talking about record players again.

This follows a virtual town hall he gave that was roundly mocked for bad garbled sound, Biden himself apparently forgetting he was on camera and walking out of the shot, and other technical issues.

“I want to be in daily or at least significant contact with the American people and communicate what I would be doing and what I think we should be doing,” said Biden, a 36-year Delaware senator and a two-term vice president under President Barack Obama. “Everything from providing access to where I physically live and being able to broadcast from there, as well as our HQ, is underway. We’ve hired a professional team.”

“Hopefully, by Monday, we’re going to be in a very different place in terms of being able to be in communication with all of you,” Biden said. “I promise you’re going to be hearing more of me than you want, probably.”

But he’s also planning on doing something that’s pretty disgraceful, if a Politico report can be believed.

According to Politico, Joe Biden is planning a regular shadow briefing after every Trump briefing on the Wuhan coronavirus, starting as early as Monday to say what he would do, play president and attack Trump.

At the time of a pandemic, what isn’t needed is someone trying to undermine public confidence and that’s exactly what he would be doing, politicizing to his own benefit, not acting in the interests of the American people.

He has no power to do anything, so anything he says can only be spit shooting to be political.

Can we say pretty sad and pathetic way to try to get attention?
