On Thursday, Sen. Martha McSally (R-AZ) called it as she saw it when she was approached in the hallway on the way to a hearing room by CNN’s Manu Raju.

CNN had a meltdown in response, pretty much proving her point.

Manu Raju tweeted that McSally was “a Republican facing a difficult election race,” confirming his hackery. Never take a side, right?

Jake Tapper even solicited the opinion of John McCain’s family to try to attack McSally.

They are still at it today, joined by other media.

But McSally doubled down last night when she appeared on Laura Ingraham’s show on Fox.

From Daily Wire:

“Senator, do you regret what you said?” Ingraham asked.

“Uh, no Laura, I do not,” McSally responded. “And I said it again actually as I went, I said, ‘you’re a liberal hack, buddy.’ As you know, these CNN reporters, so there’s many of them around the capital, they are so biased, they are so in cahoots with the Democrats, they so can’t stand the president, and they run around trying to chase Republicans and ask trapping questions.”

McSally continued, “I’m a fighter pilot, you know, I called it like it is, and that’s what we see out of the mainstream media, especially CNN, every single day, so obviously I’m going to tell the truth and I did it today and it’s laughable how they’ve responded.”

Ingraham agreed, noting that they call the president a “Russian asset” and Republicans hacks on a daily basis. McSally explained how they say hello to the Democratic senators but chase after the Republican senators to question them.

Then Ingraham ran a clip of how CNN was hilariously asking for an apology from McSally. Wolf Blitzer “interviewed” Manu Raju saying he had not heard from McSally. Blitzer pontificated, “It was an awful, awful thing she did” as though she had slandered Raju for three years with reports of him being a Russian asset.

Ingraham suggested the apology was actually owed to McSally who opined that CNN should be filing with the FEC for in-kind contributions to the Democrats.
