It hasn’t gotten a lot of attention from the media, but Democrats have been facing some pushback and anger from their constituents over pushing impeachment against President Donald Trump.
Here’s Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) hearing it from constituents.

Rep. Kendra Horn (D-OK) also felt that anger during a town hall she held last week.
From Daily Caller:
“As an independent voter, I think you’re in a lot of trouble if you vote for this impeachment,” said Edmond, Oklahoma, resident Susan Jaslow, the Oklahoman reported. Jaslow voted for Horn in 2018, but said she is part of a group of independent voters upset about the impeachment circus.
“If she votes for impeachment, she’s screwed,” Jaslow added.
“We want Congress to get back to work for the American people, please,” said Ronda Peterson, who identified herself as a conservative. Peterson said Congress has been obsessed with impeaching Trump all year.
Horn responded to Peterson by saying, “It’s frustrating for me.” Horn has said she has not made up her mind about impeachment, and her press secretary told the Daily Caller she is “reviewing the articles of impeachment” and “has not announced a decision.”
Spanberger and Horn are two of the 31 Trump district Democrats. Might have to make that 30 now, with the coming switch of Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ) who has indicated he intends to become a Republican.
But the person with whom Republicans are most disturbed over impeachment finally caught some flack from voters yesterday.
Voters really let Rep. Adam Schiff have it during an event in Los Angeles. The event was to thank the bipartisan Congress for passing recognition of the Armenian Genocide. Schiff is the Chair of the House Intel Committee and has been the principal face of impeachment.
It was hard to hear, but in there among the things shouted were “liar,” “you should be in jail” and “we’re going to take the House.” There were also signs saying “Don’t Impeach” and “Trump 2020.”
