First noted on Twitter (via Hot Air):
Reid will pull the entire gun bill from floor, likely tomorrow. No final vote. It will remain on leg calendar. Brought up some other time.

…and the NYT pretty much confirms.
Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader and a longtime gun rights advocate who had thrown himself behind the gun control measures, is expected to pull the bill from the Senate floor and move on to an Internet sales tax measure, then an overhaul of immigration policy, which has better prospects.
Guess that means that it’s time for the [online] Democratic base’s theme song, then.

Also: if the Online Left could just go through here and switch out ‘gun control’ for ‘Wisconsin recall,’ that would be great, thanks. Sorry, but I actually have more important things to do this evening than mock gun-grabbers overmuch.
