'Tis the Season of the 'Liberal Hate-Fest': The Left Chooses 'Hate Over Love' of Trump and His Supporters

Christmas Peace. (Credit: Unsplash/Davidson Luna)

As is the case with most of my conservative friends, I feel a renewed sense of "joy" (sorry, Kamala) during this Christmas and holiday season that has been missing for the last four years, and I have to be honest:

My renewed joy is less about President-elect Donald Trump winning and more about Vice President Kamala Harris and her radical left-wing policies being soundly defeated. Don't misunderstand: I couldn't be happier about Trump's win, but my happiness is trumped (no pun intended) by my sense of relief for this great country of ours.

Yet many, if not most, of our left-wing friends, continued their TDS-afflicted, melodramatic meltdowns and silly hissy fits over the reality that Trump — the Devil's own spawn — will return to the White House in less than 30 days as I write.

'May Trump Supporters and Trump Voters and Trump Himself Never Know Peace'

Those vile words, as noted by political commentator Jonathan Turley in a recent column, were spewed by Disney’s new "Snow White" actress Rachel Zegler, shortly after roughly 77 million Americans resoundingly elected Trump to a non-consecutive second term.

Ironically, just a few short weeks ago, Harris tried to rally her supporters to choose "love over hate." Was she lying? You already know that answer. Either way, the vice president's ridiculous "campaign of joy" has been replaced by "Tis the season of the liberal hate-fest," as Turley put it.

As I wrote earlier in December, food workers in Washington, D.C., have vowed to refuse service and cause other inconveniences for the incoming Trump administration in an effort to make them feel unwelcome.

"Nancy," a fine-dining bartender hilariously sniveled:

This person [Trump] theoretically has the power to take away your rights, but I have the power to make you wait 20 minutes to get your entrée. There’s a lot of opportunities for us as workers to feel like we’re taking our power back, while not necessarily ruining someone’s life. Giving them a subtle inconvenience feels like a little bit of a win for us.

There is power in making it known that you’re not comfortable with a situation, and it doesn’t necessarily have to be this big dramatic show. It’s just little bits of resistance that add up, and little bits of resistance that other people will see and hopefully feel empowered to stand on those convictions as well.

Oh, the humanity! Whatever will the Trump administration do to survive? Please.

"It is not just service and civility that are scarce in Washington," Turley wrote, "Biden is now reportedly moving to veto a bipartisan bill to relieve pressure on our overwhelmed court system."

The Judges Act, supported by both Democrats and Republicans, would add 66 new judgeships to an over-worked court system. The White House supported the bill right up until Trump won the election. While some Democrats are still trying to get the White House to change its mind, liberal groups are applauding the expected veto “to prevent President Trump from having more vacancies.”

If Biden carries out his threat, it will be not only gratuitous but illogical. The bill deliberately staggers the addition of judges over the next decade so that presidents of both parties will presumably be able to appoint them. Moreover, the Senate is still closely divided, and “blue-slipping” (whereby senators can hold up some nominations) remains in effect.

More importantly, the reason for this bipartisan effort is due to a dire need for our courts. Judges are drowning in dockets with rising caseloads. In 2004, the number of cases in district court pending for more than three years was 18,280. This year, there are 81,617.

In yet another blatant effort to "Trump-proof" the federal government, sniveling Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) earlier in December forced a vote to reconfirm National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Chairman Lauren McFerran to another five-year term in an effort to secure Democrat and union control over the NLRB throughout Trump's second presidency.

Make no mistake: The "rage addiction" against Trump and his supporters is real.

From the anti-Trump protests to the lapdog media sock puppets to the lady geniuses of ABC's ridiculous show "The View," these bitter people mean business. Make that hate-driven business.

As Turley put it:

We cannot seem to shake this rage addiction even after an election or during a holiday committed to peace and understanding. One liberal site, Crooked Media, is actually selling holiday items featuring the violent extremist group Antifa — one of the most anti-free speech groups in history, which routinely attacks journalists, speakers, and conservative demonstrators.

It seems the joy, bipartisanship, and civility have all expired like last year’s eggnog. Even Disney’s new Snow White seems to have taken the cue from the Evil Queen and treated this election as “a blast of wind to fan my hate.”

So, as the Christmas and holiday season arrives, let's not allow ourselves to get caught up in the left's season of hate. Rather, let's remember that the bitter left continues to say far more about itself than about us.
