Here we go again.
Nary a day passes that the super-thin-skinned left-wing scolds who live among us don't find something to be offended about, including generosity from those who don't even know they're doing the (faux) offending while they're doing it.
Such was the case in Minnesota recently after a Duluth hospital graciously provided a free Chick-fil-A lunch to employees. Oh, the humanity! Run to the nearest "safe space," people! Seek counseling at once! And blah-blah-blah, wah-wah-wah.
As Daily Wire reported on Wednesday, Essential Health in Duluth wrote a groveling apology to staff last Tuesday after a number of "concerned" and "offended" employees complained about a free Chick-fil-A lunch, which was available in in the St. Mary’s Medical Center’s atrium earlier that day.
I had to think this one through for a nanosecond or two to guess what offended these people. Were they bent out of shape because it was chicken? No, I decided -- then it hit me. Chick-fil-A's values statement reads in part:
Chick-fil-A’s Corporate Purpose is “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come into contact with Chick-fil-A."
Hence, as anyone who loves Chick-fil-A Chicken Nuggets even close to as much as I do knows, the company's restaurants are closed on Sunday, foregoing untold millions of dollars in profit in favor of glorifying God. Then it further hit me. Here's more (emphasis, mine):
Chick-fil-A has drawn the ire of LGBT activists over the years, who have boycotted and staged protests over the company donating to groups like the Salvation Army, which activists claim has “a record of anti-LGBTQ discrimination.” In fact, the company emphasizes that it “values diversity, equity and inclusion” and does not discriminate or tolerate harassment on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Nevertheless, Tammy Kritzer, senior vice president for regional operations at Essential Health, wrote in an email to employees that was obtained by The Daily Wire:
We have received feedback from some colleagues who were concerned or offended by this occurrence, and we value colleagues feeling comfortable expressing their reservations. We would like to thank our colleagues who had the courage to speak up to widen our lens of inclusivity, and we appreciate all colleagues continuing to live our values of respect and justice.
Wait. "Courage?" How so?
The rabid left proactively looks for opportunities to lose its collective mind. We see it daily. And left-wing groupspeak nonsense like "widen our lens of inclusivity" is nothing more than "virtue-signaling" -- another meaningless practice of the left.
The prostrating email continued:
We respect all we are honored to serve and employ, and situations such as these are an important reminder to consider all viewpoints. As we strive to be thoughtful and inclusive as an organization, we will have learnings along the way.
In the words of Maya Angelou, when we know better, we do better. Thank you for giving us grace, as we work to be better, together.
Pander-pander, grovel-grovel.

As for considering "all viewpoints," Ms. Kritzer, what about the viewpoints of Christians or others who are offended by the left's embrace of confused minors who are programmed to believe they're "transgender?" What about those who are offended by the left's never-ending attack on Christianity as a whole? The list goes on.
The Bottom Line
Essential Health could have sent out a basic email to employees saying simply that it values the views of all employees, and left it at that. But, no -- groveling is required by the left, and far too many companies and organizations are more than happy to oblige.
