Biden-Harris DHS Restarts Fraud-Plagued 'Parole' Program That Directly Flies Illegal Aliens to US

Among the multitude of lies told by Kamala Harris and her acolytes at her gaslighting convention in Chicago last week, her vow to pursue border security was the most laughable. Texas Democrat Rep. Veronica Escobar's ridiculous drivel was a perfect example.

All Republicans have to offer is demonization and bluster. With Kamala Harris as president, we can live up to the promise of America. We can strengthen legal pathways to immigration. We can secure our borders and treat with dignity those that seek a better future within them.

And what, exactly, is that "promise of America," Ms. Escobar? I submit that, first and foremost, it's to protect our borders — and to protect our citizens from harm by bad people illegally in this country who seek to do bad things.

It's a wise rule of thumb to ignore what Democrats say and watch what they do.

In a quintessential case in point, the Biden-Harris Department of Homeland Security's citizenship agency has put out an urgent call for volunteers to help process applications to restart a fraud-filled program that allows unauthorized illegal aliens (by existing U.S immigration law definition) from some Latin American nations — including Cuba — to skip the border farce and fly directly into the United States.

What could possibly go wrong?

The program that shuttled more than a half-million illegals — who lack legal visas — into the U.S. was abruptly halted several weeks ago after an internal review found massive fraud. I know; try to control your shock and amazement. Now, without explanation, Citizen and Immigration Services is looking for a quick restart.

In an email call for volunteers, Donna Campagnolo, USCIS chief human capital officer, said the agency wants volunteers by the end of this week. I'm going to go out on a limb and bet "Border Czar" Kamala isn't available for comment.

Campagnolo wrote in the email:

This will be a full-time, remote detail for 180 days. No prior experience is necessary. Training will be provided, and overtime may be available.

Let's think about this for a minute.

It's one thing for immigrant wannabes to present themselves at the U.S. border and seek asylum. It's quite another thing for the US government — courtesy of U.S. taxpayers, of course — to fly to Latin American countries as a proactive shuttle service to snatch up as many illegals as it can find. Yep, Joe and Kamala did that, and they're about to start doing it again.

Emilio Gonzalez, who ran USCIS under President George W. Bush and who obtained the email, said it was a troubling move for a program that had to be paused because of massive fraud.

This administration is intent on driving this program through regardless of the consequences. That’s what’s bothersome from a national security perspective. You’re going to tell me in what, four weeks, you figured out the massive fraud and are ready to start over again?

Ahh, Mr. Gonzalez, they're not going to tell you, me — or anyone else — anything. They're going to do what they've done for three and a half years: they're going to get away with as much as they can get away with and import as many illegal aliens as they can — for as long as they can.

USCIS has not revealed what steps it is taking to fix the fraud.

Finally, Joseph Edlow, the agency’s acting director in the Trump administration, said recruiting volunteers who lack training as immigration officers is a sign that USCIS isn’t making the proper fixes.

This eliminates their chances of catching fraud. To have staffers who have no connection to the immigration work of the agency reviewing forms in the hopes they’re either going to catch fraud or make a determination or a review, in this case, that someone is or is not eligible is laughable.

Yes, Mr. Edlow, it sure is.
