Barack, Michelle Obama to Grace DNC Stage Tuesday Night, As Gaslighting Charade Continues

The palace intrigue resumed at the Democrat National Convention on Monday as the largest gaslighting operation in U.S. political history continued, from singing the praises and touting "accomplishments" of Kamala Harris to glowing oratory about Joe Biden's presidency — and angry, swan-song scream fest.

Tuesday night promises to be more of the same.

Barack Obama, one of the purported coup leaders against Biden, and wife Michelle, will grace the DNC stage, with the former president delivering the keynote address.

The Obamas will be preceded by a who's who of leftists, including Sen. Chuck Schumer (NY), Kamala's husband, Doug Emhoff, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt), Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, and Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth.

As the Washington Post sees it, Barack and Michelle Obama " are at the pinnacle of the Democratic Party, arguably the two most popular Democrats in the country."

Since leaving the White House in early 2017, they have pursued parallel but separate paths. He is the political partner in the relationship; she has transcended politics.

WaPo quoted David Axelrod, Obama's former chief strategist, who couldn't have been more glowing about Michelle.

Michelle is in a completely different category. She never thought of herself as ‘in politics.’ She was a conscript. She is even more of a cultural figure.

So, Back to the Coup

As RedState wrote on July 30, Obama, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer reportedly pulled off the coup that led to Biden "dropping out" of the presidential campaign.

Who twisted the knife, and how deeply they twisted it may never be known — particularly after Pelosi's disgusting comments to CNN's Jake Tapper on Monday.

Obama's address will likely be a balancing act in which he will demonstrate his love and affection for Biden and his friendship with Harris. Having helped engineer Biden's ouster, he'll no doubt remain respectful, while at the same time pointing to the Democrats' post-Biden future.

As RedState reported on August 11, former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) claimed in a radio interview that Obama is secretly running Harris' campaign behind the scenes. Farfetched? Stranger things have happened.

Harris and (whacked-out) Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, will receive their formal nomination in a roll-call vote of the convention's delegates on Tuesday evening, as well. Harris became the de facto Democratic nominee soon after Biden "removed himself" from the race on July 21. Harris selected Walz as her running mate on Aug. 6.

So Tuesday night, the gaslighting will continue.

We will hear more of the same as what we heard on Monday night. Joe Biden's presidency was a fantastic success, by every metric. Joe Biden only abandoned his campaign because, as much as he loved his job as president, he loves his country even more.

Kamala Harris will lead the country to new heights with her extraordinary vision, and love and compassion for all Americans.

And terrible Donald Trump will finally relegated to the dustbin of American politics.
