From Joe Biden to his buffoonish press secretaries (past and present) to members of the administration, the obfuscations, changing stories, denials, and yes, bald-faced lies about the Biden Family Business scandal combine as an arrogant affront to rational Americans — and it only gets worse by the day.

Cast Your Mind Back to the Beginning

When reports first began to surface about Hunter Biden‘s nefarious overseas business dealings, Joe Biden continually made two mutually exclusive statements. First, he claimed he and his crackhead son never discussed the latter’s business dealings. Second, and simultaneously, he arrogantly claimed Hunter never did anything wrong, much less illegal.

Spoiler, Joe: The first claim makes the second impossible — and vice versa.

As the damning evidence in the Hunter Biden Laptop Scandal continued to mount — including pictures of Hunter’s foreign business associates with Joe Biden and their scheduled appointment times, and a recording of Joe discussing with Hunter a published account of Hunter’s meeting with Chinese businessman Ye Jianming, founder and former chairman of CEFC China Energy Company Limited, in which dad assured his son: “I think you’re in the clear” — the Biden lies continued.

Buffoonish White House Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre continued to twist herself into idiotic pretzels of silly denial, as Joe continued to smirk and smugly smile as he continually walked away from reporters asking legitimate questions. All the while, the liberal lapdog media continued to frantically backhoe and fill.

The Day the Dam Broke

Despite Hunter Biden agreeing to a plea agreement — the sweetheart deal of sweetheart deals  — in late June, all hell broke loose on Wednesday when U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika rejected the plea agreement, which would’ve given Hunter extraordinarily broad immunity.

As a result, Joe’s wayward son instead pleaded not guilty to tax and gun charges.

Noreika gave both parties 30 days to submit briefs meant to alleviate the concerns she expressed in court. Toward the end of the proceeding, attorneys for both parties agreed to attempt to hash out the judge’s concerns.

Karine Jean-Pierre’s Clown Show

So following Hunter’s day from hell — and an even darker cloud over Joe’s embattled presidency and re-election chances — veritable stand-up-comedian KJP took to the podium in the White House press room to ostensibly answer questions about the day’s disastrous goings on…by not answering questions.

KJP also went clown world on Monday before the dam broke on Wednesday when she was asked about Joe Biden’s continuing insistence that he never discussed overseas business dealing with Hunter. She incredibly answered:

I’ve been asked this question a million times. The answer is not going to change. The answer remains the same. [Joe Biden] was never in business with his son.

Um, huh? Memo to KJP: You changed the answer with your answer.

So here’s the thing, which I’ve previously opined. The notion held by some on our side that “They (Democrats) think you’re stupid” couldn’t be further from the truth. On the contrary, the Democrats not only know you’re not stupid; they don’t give a damn either way.

They also know their low-information rank-and-file base believes you’re stupid — because Democrat elites and useful idiots tell them you are. Hence their lies and various narratives are directed at their voter base, and frankly, my dear, they don’t give a damn what you think, one way or another. (Apologies to “Gone With the Wind” fans.)

The Unbridled Arrogance of Joe Biden

Let’s go bottom-line. Joe Biden has been Barney Fife’s evil twin brother in Washington, D.C., for more than half a century. While braggadocious, his serial lying, overinflating (lying about) his resume, and plagiarism tell a different story. That guy is still that guy — and he hasn’t changed an iota. Never forget: All people generally revert to form.

Now eyeball-deep in the worst political crisis of his life, Biden continues to smirk and smugly smile as if he’s looking the American people in the eye and giving the middle finger to hardworking, decent people across the fruited plain. (Yeah, I still miss Rush.)

And frankly, my friends, “the big guy” doesn’t give a damn whether you like it or not.
