From Day One of Karine Jean-Pierre’s job as White House Secretary, the often confused, often lying podium jockey has been a target of ridicule and derision, the likes of which not even Jen “Circle Back” Psaki came close to experiencing. On the contrary, KJP continues to make Psaki look like Dana Perino.

During her Tuesday performance, KJP took it to a whole nother level: She bizarrely claimed that the ever-worsening deadly fentanyl crisis was nothing of the kind, instead, she delusionally claimed, fentanyl levels in the U.S. are at “historic lows” — and every bit of it do to the heroic efforts of one Joe Biden:

Because of the work that this president has done, because of what we’ve done specifically on fentanyl at the border, it’s at historic lows — historic levels that we have been able to record a number of personnel working to secure the border because of what we’ve been able to do, seizing that fentanyl. We’ve done it in a historic way. That’s because of what this President has done.

Pay no attention to your lying eyes, America.

Thing is, that’s way too stupid — even for KJP — to be just a lie, because it’s way too easily shot to hell with data from, among others, the U.S. government itself.

Speaking of the U.S. government’s official stance on the out-of-control fentanyl crisis, the RNC’s Rapid Response Director Tommy Pigott tweeted in response to KJP’s bizarre babble:

According to DEA Administrator Anne Milgram, cartels are “killing Americans with fentanyl at catastrophic and record rates like we’ve never seen before.” To claim success amid this devastation is an insult to the hundreds of thousands who have lost loved ones.

Ah, yuuge mistake, Tommy. To paraphrase Hillary, what difference do those hundreds and thousands of Americans make when it comes to the White House narrative?

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin even wondered aloud if KJP misspoke.

KJP appears to be implying that record high seizures are a good thing. It’s a double edged sword. Border officials will tell you they only catch a fraction of what comes through. The seizures show cartels are pushing MASSIVE amounts of fentanyl across the border. CBP/BP do a great job stopping what they can – but fentanyl is all over the country right now.

It occurs to me one answer might be that given KJP’s total lack of knowledge or understanding of anything not contained in her trusty 3-ring binder, and because of her total cluelessness, her “ability” to do her job begins and ends in the nonsense written by Biden’s left-wing handlers for low information Democrat voters.

The bizarre exchange began after White House reporters began to question KJP about the four Americans who were kidnapped in Mexico, which ended with two of them dead, and the two others, one of whom was wounded, returned to the U.S. As is her daily routine, the embattled press secretary immediately tried to downplay the entire incident, while claiming (as per her usual) that Team Biden was all over it from the beginning.

Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked:

So cartels kill Americans on this side of the border with drugs, and now they’re killing Americans on the other side of the border with guns. Why is President Biden so comfortable with cartels operating so close to the U.S.?

After ignoring Doocy’s reference to the kidnapped Americans, and instead going off on her bizarre Fentanyl claims, Doocy again asked:

Now Americans are being slaughtered. Would President Biden be taking the same approach if it was al-Qaeda or ISIS operating just across the border from an American city?

Aaand KJP again went KJP:

The FBI and other agencies have been on top of this from day one.

Look, KJP is gonna KJP. It’s what she does. But for the White House to continue to allow it to continue to happen on a daily basis tells us far more about Joe Biden than hapless Karine Jean-Pierre.

Maybe she’ll retract her comments, today. Nah, I’m just messin’ with you.
