House Republican Rolls out Resolution Condemning Critical Race Theory, Calls It a 'Threat' to America

As the nationwide battle continues over the indoctrination of America’s school children with so-called “critical race theory,” a congressional Republican on Friday introduced a House Resolution condemning the controversial Marxist-derived theory as a “threat” to America and everything our country stands for.

The resolution, introduced by North Carolina Republican Rep. Dan Bishop, a copy of which was first obtained by The Daily Caller, references the similarities between CRT and Marxism, and declares CRT a Marxist ideology that is not only a direct threat to “the Republic,” but to the “free world,” as a whole.

Bishop told Daily Caller, prior to introducing the resolution:

CRT proponents cannot be allowed to conceal the Marxian foundations of their racist ideology. This resolution allows Congress to do what has always been essential to defeating Marxism — calling it what it is and exposing those who consort with it.

This was not Bishop’s first rodeo against Critical Race Theory. In May 2021, he introduced the Stop CRT Act and the Combatting Racist Training in the Military Act, designed to ban the use of federal funds to promote and teach CRT, and stop the indoctrination of members of the U.S. military, as well. Bishop passionately declared on his congressional website:

Critical Race Theory is a poison to the psyche of our nation. This destructive ideology has no place in America’s institutions, and the bills I’m introducing will help ensure that our government isn’t spending resources on promoting it.

But President Biden and the radical Left are committed to pushing this neo-Marxist propaganda into our classrooms, places of work, and even the military.

Legislators on every level must fight back against this insidious effort to undermine the truths about our nation’s founding with everything we’ve got.

Bishop’s site further explained:

Critical Race Theory is a distortion of the truth and spreading it into America’s institutions is a top priority for the radical Left. The Stop CRT Act is the most comprehensive legislation to address CRT introduced to date. The bill will fully defund efforts to spread CRT and will also codify the Trump Administration’s Executive Order that would keep this ideology out of the federal government entirely.

The Combatting Racist Training in the Military Act of 2021, a House companion bill to the Senate version introduced by Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), would ensure that CRT is not found in the training of our men and women in uniform.

I don’t know how many “amens” the above two paragraphs warrant, but I stopped counting at 10.

While the actions of Rep. Bishop and others against CRT indoctrination are admirable, we must never forget the warped commitment of the radical left to continue the insidious spread of the destructive theory.

As we reported in late June, Boston University Professor Ibram X. Kendi, a CRT activist and therefore obsessed with all things race and “racist,” equated the “right to have guns” with the “right to own slaves.” As is his bent, Kendi also launched into his CRT promotional spiel.

The way that we protect our kids from [white supremacy] is ensure they can identify white supremacist ideology and the way they can identify white supremacist ideology is to teach them about it.

There’s no way they’re going to be able to protect themselves from it just like they can’t protect themselves from cars. They have to understand to look both ways whether they’re teenagers or young people so they won’t get harmed.

At 3 years old, kids are attaching skin color to positive or negative traits. I want us to counteract that as parents.

But wait, you ask, what about tolerance and diversity of thought?

As we reported in May, a group of self-absorbed academic elitists gathered at Indiana University to furiously nod in agreement about the wonderful awe of CRT — and to call diversity of thought, “white supremacist excrement.”

Here’s just one example of their ridiculous, meaningless, though highly intellectual [sarcasm], blather:

[W]e are committed to (1) countering and combating systemic and structural racism with scholarship and praxis, (2) recognizing the multiple locations of oppression and the myriad manifestations and effects of their intersections and (3) co-constructing liberating knowledge that facilitates collective agency to transform schools and communities.

Makes complete sense, doesn’t it? [yep, more sarcasm]

The bottom line:

Clearly, the Ibram Kendis of America, along with race-baiting Democrat politicians and their sock puppets in the liberal media, as well as the intellectual idiots in the no-longer-hallowed halls of academia, are never going to stop pushing CRT on their own — even if they must disguise it or themselves to do so.

Those opposed to this metastasizing cancer must continue to condemn it for what it is, without fear of retribution or political repercussions. Principles matter; the principled among us must stand as one.

Cutting off the flow of money Critical Race Theory is a good place to start.
