Jill Biden Whines to Private Donors About the Duties of the Presidency Interfering With Joe's 'Hopes and Plans'

While gaffes and other stupid crap Joe and Jill Biden say with regularity — the latest example being “Dr.” Jill’s TacoGate — are written about ad nauseam, I made an executive decision on Sunday morning to cover recent, substantive comments by the hopelessly self-absorbed First Lady, during which she not only revealed how she views the duties of the presidency; but how her addled husband views his job, as well.

Mrs. Biden, blamed by many for not stopping her husband, obviously in mental decline, from seeking the presidency in 2020 — if not pushing him to do so — could not enjoy the limelight more, and trappings of the White House and her off-the-charts view of her own self-importance–but there’s just one problem:

The Biden presidency has not exactly played out the way the Bidens envisioned it.

So, what’s a disgruntled, self-aggrandizing First Lady to do, when the approval ratings of her inept husband and his disastrous presidency continue to swirl down the toilet at an ever-increasing pace? Why, blame the duties of the presidency itself — for getting in the way of her husband’s “hopes and plans.”

As surprisingly reported by CNN on Saturday, Mrs. Biden opened up about her frustrations during a private gathering of wealthy Democratic donors, during which she complained that her husband has been consistently challenged by  — wait for it — the problems of the moment.

Predictably, as is the case with her buck-passing husband, Mrs. Biden also blamed her husband’s woeful approval ratings on Vladimir Putin and Russia, the war in Ukraine, mass shootings, the Supreme Court’s overturn of Roe v. Wade, yada yada yada.

Check it out, as transcribed by CNN:

[The President] had so many hopes and plans for things he wanted to do, but every time you turned around, he had to address the problems of the moment. He’s just had so many things thrown his way.

Who would have ever thought about what happened with Roe v. Wade? Well, maybe we saw it coming, but still, we didn’t believe it. The gun violence in this country is absolutely appalling. We didn’t see the war in Ukraine coming.

And of course, the trials and tribulation of “Dr.” Jill, herself. Spoiler: this is hilarious.

I was saying to myself, ‘Okay, I was Second Lady. I worked on community colleges. I worked on military families. I’ve worked on cancer.

They were supposed to be my areas of focus. But then when we got [in the White House,] I had to be, with all that was happening, the First Lady of the moment

Shaking your head and laughing hysterically, aren’t you? This is how this woman really thinks.

Can’t you just picture the two of them, commiserating with one another over a sippy cup of coffee, a couple of bowls of ice cream, pudding cups, or whatever, as America continues to go to hell in a proverbial handbasket? Bottom line: It’s all about Joe and Jill Biden, America; you and your loved ones don’t matter.

Memo to the Bidens:

The job of every chief executive in America is consistently challenged by “problems of the moment” and unanticipated crises, which is precisely why some people are cut out for the job and some are not. Not to mention the chief executive of the (usually, although not in this case) most powerful guy on the planet.

P.S. You know that bumper sticker, Dr. Jill? “Stuff” Happens? Yeah, the presidency happens, too. Successful chief executivesincluding successful presidents of the United States are not only capable of dealing with crises and other unforeseen circumstances; many of them thrive during such times. History is replete with examples, Mrs. Biden, and guess what? Your husband will not be on that list.
