“She is insane,” observed a commenter: “We are being governed by insane people.”

The dead-on observation was in response to Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s delusional description of the House Democrat caucus during her weekly lie-fest on Thursday. I don’t know if Pelosi is an insane individual or not but I do know she does a hell of a realistic job portraying one on TV on a regular basis.

With her trademark sheepish silly grin plastered all over her plastered face, which comes across as somewhere in between embarrassed about the ridiculous crap coming out of her gibbering mouth and giddy “the lights are on but nobody’s home” cluelessness, Madam Speaker described House Democrats thusly:

Here’s the thing. I say to my members, on a regular basis, when we gather in caucus and as you know, sometimes it’s hybrid, these days, but any time we have gathered when we’re actually virtually hybrid, I’ve said to them — under this roof, figuratively or actually — ‘This is the greatest collection of intellect, integrity, and imagination, for doing the right thing for the American people.’

I’ll stop the nonsense for a minute and give you time to stop laughing — given that you can stop laughing. Finished? Pelosi wasn’t:

I have great confidence in the integrity of my members. They are remarkable. So when people talk about ‘well, somebody might do this and somebody might do that,’ I— I— I trust our members. If in fact, we should have severe penalties for delays [in] reporting and reporting on stock, then do that.

Multi-millionaire Pelosi’s reference to stock was in response to serious questions about her opposition to restrictions on stock transactions for lawmakers, for which she and her husband are partially to blame.

So let’s recap that complete crock of crap, shall we?

“Doing the right thing for the American people.”

How so? By attempting to federalize presidential elections? Through lies and deception, to boot? Remember, gang, Lyin’ Biden™ and Congressional Democrats are not trying to make voting easier — they are trying to make it easier to cheat.

Or maybe by purposely pitting American against American —race against race — by lying about “systemic racism,” “white supremacy,” and “inherent racist tendencies,” based solely on “whiteness”? By promoting and lying about so-called Marxist-derived “critical race theory,” which rejects everything Martin Luther King Jr. fought and died for? By pandering to Black Lives Matter, “peaceful protests,” and “reparations”?

Or gleefully and steadfastly supporting the importation of millions of illegal aliens in a naked attempt to permanently alter the demographics of America — based on Democrat belief that Latinos will forever line up, election after election, and dutifully pull the “D” lever, no questions asked? Incidentally, you’re wrong in that respect, Nancy — but that’s another topic for another time.

The list goes on, Madam Speaker, and even worse? You know damn well everything I said is true. You also know that everything Democrats support, oppose, propose, or reject can be connected to the ballot box with no more than two dots. In a word, Mrs. Pelosi, you’re full of “hot air.”

Democrats have issued a dire warning to the American people that Republicans will steal the election in 2022 by blocking all Democrat efforts to steal the election.

“Republicans want to destroy our democracy by stealing the election, just like Hitler,” said Nancy Pelosi in a speech supporting the Voting Rights Act.

“If Republicans are not stopped, they will block all our noble efforts to steal the election for ourselves, because Republicans are racist and want to bring back Jim Crow. We cannot allow that!”

Satire. The closer to reality, the funnier.

And in the case of Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat Party, the more troubling, as well.
