Biden's Excuse for Not Meeting With Families of School Shooting Victims Is Pathetic

There are excuses, and then there are Joe Biden excuses. In between outright lying about any number of issues, some of the nonsensical excuses Corn Pop’s pal comes up with for why he did this or why he didn’t do that, have become legendary. On Tuesday, he delivered one of his best efforts in a while.

As RedState reported earlier Wednesday, Biden skedaddled off to Minnesota on Monday to talk up his already-signed-into-law, pretend “infrastructure” plan. Why? He’s Joe. And his handlers know he’s sinking like a rock and they’re desperately trying in vain to make a silk purse out of an addled old sow’s ear.

Anyway, things went just as you’d expect, Joe being Joe and all. Between lies, confusion, and his trademark mental lapses, all Joe — all terrible. And after terrible, it went disgusting.

Oxymoronically, ROFL-emoji, disgusting.

When asked by a reporter if he’ll travel to Michigan to meet with the families of the three students killed when a 15-year-old student opened fire with a handgun at Oxford High School in Oxford Township, as we reported on Friday, Biden’s initial, out-of-the-gate answer was: “I don’t know if I’ll be able to do that.”

Translation: No, unless the outcry builds to a point where I’ll have to put that fire out.”

After saying he had spoken with Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) — who’d have a hard time beating a box of rocks in a game of checkers — Biden said:

“I think she knew somebody who was there. I’m not — I don’t know anybody who was injured.”

Wait, what? To paraphrase your old pal Hillary, what difference does it make if you know anyone who was “injured,” Mr. President?

But this was his worst line of all: “I don’t even have the detail of who the families are.”

Not that Biden doesn’t have a long history of only opening his mouth to change feet, but c’mon. Joe, newsflash: You have people — people to find out what you need to know and share it with you.

Remember? Anything?

And then there was Waukesha. As RedState reported in the aftermath of the horrific domestic terrorist attack against the Waukesha Christmas parade, leaving six people dead, Biden displayed the same pattern: no-show Joe. Moreover, he notoriously and immediately anointed himself judge and jury in calling 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse a “white supremacist.”

Yet, bcause Darrell E. Brooks Jr., who purposely drove an SUV through the parade, is black and his victims are white, Joe goes full-metal ‘crickets.’ Now, raise your hand if you don’t think Biden would have jetted to Waukesha within 48 hours tops, if Brooks were white and his victims black.

(Slightly) to Biden’s credit, he did briefly reference the school shooting during his mumbling speech promoting the new “infrastructure” law.

“As we learn the full details, my heart goes out to the families enduring the unimaginable grief of losing a loved one.”

Call me cynical, but nonsense. Boilerplate stuff ripped off by an aide and promptly read from the teleprompter, with zero behind it. If there was, why would he make up such a ridiculously lame excuse like, “I don’t know if I’ll be able to do that”?

The obscene hypocrisy of the left knows no bounds, America. Not even in disgusting situations like Michigan or Waukesha.

And Joe Biden is riding in the front car in the Democrat hypocrisy parade.
