40 Border Patrol Agents Test Positive in Texas as Number of Covid-Positive Migrants Continues to Explode

Anthony Fauci continues to lecture America about vaccinations. Joe Biden bizarrely accuses Facebook of “killing people” with COVID “misinformation.” Meanwhile, the number of COVID-positive illegal aliens streaming across the border continues to explode — including a 900 percent increase in July, alone. Forty Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents have tested positive, including five who were hospitalized.

Democrat priorities, America.

As Fox News reported on Wednesday, Rio Grande Valley Sector Chief Patrol Agent Brian Hastings told KURV radio in McAllen, Texas, that just during the first two weeks in July, 135 migrants being detained tested positive for the coronavirus — marking the 900 percent increase over the previous 14 months. Just in the Rio Grande Valley Sector.

As Fox noted, the RGV sector is one of the primary destinations for migrants —and the coyotes who smuggle them across the border — seeing more than 2,000 apprehensions every day and accounting for 60 percent of confirmed positive detainees in the U.S. Border Patrol custody. Wait — doesn’t Circle-Back Psaki still laughingly insist that the border is “closed”?

On Saturday, as Breitbart Texas reported, Rio Grande City Station agents apprehended a group of 300 migrants who illegally crossed the border in La Grulla, Texas. During a medical screening in the field, at least one of the illegals exhibited COVID symptoms. The agents arranged transportation to an area hospital where the illegal did indeed test positive for COVID. Where’s Fauci? Where’s Biden?

Breitbart further reported that just last week, more than 15,000 illegals were apprehended in the sector.

Incredibly, according to Fox News, Border Patrol does not typically test migrants when they are initially taken into custody. Instead, they are tested after they are transferred, either to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) custody, if they are unaccompanied children, or to non-governmental organizations, if they are part of a family — for transport elsewhere in the country.

Former acting Custom and Borders Protection  Commissioner Mark Morgan told Fox News this month:

“Mexico is not where we’re at, the Northern Triangle countries aren’t where we’re at, there are multiple countries in Western Hemisphere that are not where America is at when it comes to vaccines and dealing with COVID.

“But they’re still going to open it up to people in these countries to come from, to transverse through to get to our country, and allow them in — it’s absolutely endangering American lives and once again shows this administration puts America last and everyone else first.”

While currently, border agents are still allowed to turn away most migrants who have arrived at the southern border during the pandemic, based on Title 42 public health protections put in place during the Trump administration, the Biden administration is considering phasing out the rule, as reported by The New York Times, in late June.

Meanwhile, Anthony Fauci and Joe Biden continue to lecture America.
