Um, Joe? Majority of Black Voters Don't Believe Voter ID Laws Discriminate: Rasmussen

It’s one thing when the Democrat Party and its liberal media organ grinder monkeys spin and manipulate the crap out of facts, data, history, and reality — but when facts, data, history, and reality clearly debunk one of the foundational narratives of the Democrats?

It’s a beautiful thing.

For as long as I can remember, the Democrat Party has whined (lied) about not only “voter suppression” of minorities during virtually every election that comes down the politically expedient pike, but Democrats have also railed against various state election laws as purposely written to discriminate again voters of color.

From Nancy Pelosi to Chuck Schumer to Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the entire Democrat Party, the dishonest histrionics and political theater on full display in the aftermath of Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signing into law of the Peach Tree State’s election reform law was just the latest pathetic example of Democrat “voter suppression” nonsense.

Dopey Major League baseball of course jumped all over the “travesty” as well, jerking the All-Star game out of Atlanta and shipping it off to Colorado — a state with stricter voting laws than the provisions in the new Georgia legislation. And being the supreme hypocrite he is is, prior to MLB’s decision on Colorado, Chucky boldly invited the league to play its showcase game in New York — another state with stricter voting laws than Georgia.

Listen, one poll does not a constant make. But between the silliness of Democrat accusation after accusation of Georgia’s new “Jim Crow” laws —from Biden, as well — and results to the contrary from a recent poll from Rasmussen, it seems to be that someone has some ‘splainin’ to do:

According to a Rasmussen April 11-12 survey of 1,000 likely voters, 59 percent of black voters do not believe requiring photo ID at the polls is discriminatory, close to the 62 percent overall average of the survey.

As reported by Breitbart, participants were asked: “Do laws requiring photo identification at the polls discriminate against some voters?”

A majority, or 62 percent, said no, 29 percent said yes, and nine percent indicated they remain unsure. Notably, 59 percent of black voters agree that requiring photo ID at the polls is not discriminatory, and 58 percent of those who did not identify as either black or white agreed.

Additionally, according to Rasmussen:

Seventy-five percent (75%) say requiring voters to show photo identification such as a driver’s license before being allowed to vote is necessary to “a fair and secure election process.”

Asked which is more important, making it easier for everybody to vote, or making sure there is no cheating in elections, 60% of Likely Voters say it’s more important to prevent cheating, while 37% said it’s more important to make it easier to vote.

Majorities of all racial groups – 59% of whites, 56% of Blacks and 63% of other minority voters – say it is more important to make sure there is no cheating in elections than to make it easier to vote.

Sixty-one percent (61%) of Democrats say it is more important to make it easier to vote, a view shared by just 15% of Republicans and 34% of unaffiliated voters.

Only 22% of voters say it is currently too hard to vote, while 34% said it’s too easy to vote, and 41% say the level of difficulty in voting is about right.

Seventy-four percent (74%) of Republicans believe it is likely last year’s presidential election was affected by cheating, a view shared by 30% of Democrats and 51% of voters not affiliated with either major party.

Yet Biden called Republican election integrity efforts “sick” and “un-American,” making a typical dumb Biden joke, saying the Georgia law “makes Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle,” whatever the hell that meant.

And Chucky went full-metal Chucky — Chucky pretty much always goes full-metal Chucky, calling GOP election reform efforts “one of the greatest threats we have to Democracy in America.”

The bottom line.

Polls are polls. They are at best a “snapshot.” But here’s the thing with this Rasmussen poll, and other recent polls that have found similar results: The lies of Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, & Co. are simply that: unsubstantiated lies, told specifically to sow even more racial division, solely with a dishonest eye on the voting booth.
