Fox News “correspondent-at-large” Geraldo Rivera has had enough of everyone, from President Trump, with whom he claims to be “dear friends,” to Gen. Michael Flynn, Col. Allen West, Kelli Ward, chairman of the Arizona Republican Party, and the rest of the “lunatic fringe spoiled brats” who continue to challenge the presidential election results.
”Donald Trump lost the election. Joe Biden won the damn election.”
In a bizarre, outdoor selfie-video posted to Twitter, which he began with, “Hi everybody, happy Sunday,” and “If you haven’t done your shopping, you better get it going,” the mercurial veteran journalist teed off on “all of the above.”
“‘Cross the Rubicon?’ Are you sh***ing me? Time to stop playing around with the Constitution. Biden won. Trump lost. Stop acting like spoiled brats. Or worse, the lunatic fringe. Enough. Basta.”
Basta, you spoiled brats, c’mon!

Classic “Geraldo being Geraldo.”
“This is absolutely lunatic fringe stuff. And the president, in encouraging it, and moreover surrounding himself with some of these fringe characters.
“You know, and I hate to say it, but Gen. Flynn, who I backed one hundred percent in terms of his pardon, is one of those leading the president down this path. This crazy path.
“Donald Trump lost the election. Joe Biden won the damn election. Now let’s just move on from there and stop this ridiculous nonsense that makes everyone look half-baked.”
Rivera began his rant by referencing West, chairman of the Texas Republican Party, and his suggestion earlier this month that “perhaps law-abiding states should bond together and form a Union of states that will abide by the Constitution.”
“Frankly I thought Allen West was sounding crazy,” Rivera said.
He took issue with Flynn, in part based on the retired general’s retweet of a tweet by Ward. “Kelli Ward has a great feel for the people of Arizona and America,” Flynn tweeted, “She continues to #FightForTrump With courage and conviction.”
He then went off on Ward for saying she was waiting for Trump to “cross the Rubicon,” a reference to the historical crossing of the Rubicon River, which led to the Roman civil war and Caesar becoming a dictator. Spoiler: Geraldo disagreed.
Ward’s tweet included the hashtag #CrossTheRubicon that set Geraldo off.
“Mr. President @realDonaldTrump – we are with you in #Arizona. We are working every avenue to stop this coup & to stop our Republic from crumbing. Patriots are united. Those who are against us are exposing themselves. #Liberty & #freedom are on the line. #CrossTheRubicon

Perhaps Geraldo’s seemingly-random tweet was somewhat of a continuation of a Saturday tweet, in which he went quintessential Geraldo, lamenting the loss of 3,000 Twitter followers for calling on “my friend” Donald Trump to engage in a “gracious transition.” But call on Trump, he must: “Sad to see them go, but Country first.”
Lost about 3000 Twitter followers since editorializing for peaceful, traditional, gracious transition from losing incumbent, my friend @realDonaldTrump to winner @JoeBiden 46th President-Elect.
Sad to see them go, but Country first. One nation indivisible. The rest is politics.— Geraldo Rivera (@GeraldoRivera) December 19, 2020
Maybe it’s just me, Geraldo, but are you sh***ing us?
I’m pretty sure you’re going to be even “sadder” after that public “spanking” you gave Trump & Co. on Sunday. And do make sure you get your shopping done; you’ve only got three more days. Basta, dude.
Finally, since we’re beating up on Geraldo, here’s my favorite “Geraldo moment.”
You’re welcome.
