There are two primary symptoms of Trump Derangement Syndrome. The first is unbridled hatred of all things Donald Trump, from hating everything he does, says, or tweets, to at its extreme, wishing death on the man, often in the most hideous manner possible. The second symptom is uncontrollable fits of lying: lies about Trump; lies about facts and history; even lies about themselves.

The latter was on full display on yesterday’s episode of television’s version of a newsstand liberal rag, “The View,” when View-meister Whoopi Goldberg, with a straight face, admonished supporters of Trump to “suck it up” and accept the results of the election — results which have yet to certified by a single state — just “like we sucked it up,” she said, and accepted the results in 2016. (Apologies if you just spit liquid all over your screen.)

In this first blockquote, Whoopi brings up the worst example of “sucking it up” on the planet; Her Majesty, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

“Now, I just want to bring something up right now. I want to say to all those people who don’t believe that Americans actually got out and voted, let me say this to you. When you know who was elected four years ago, Hilary Clinton didn’t say, ‘Hey, wait a minute, this doesn’t feel right, stop the count.’ She didn’t say, ‘This isn’t right, I’m not going for it.’ She didn’t say any of that. So, all of you, suck it up. Suck it up like we sucked it up.”

First of all, nobody has said Americans didn’t “get out and vote.” Second, to suggest that Hillary didn’t say “this doesn’t feel right” — which she continues to say to this very day, still whining, and blaming everything and everybody except herself for her loss. To suggest that Hillary “sucked it up” and you “sucked it up” is as stupefying a lie as I have ever seen.

“And if you’re not sure that you’re comfortable with Joe Biden, do what we did, find things and then take it to the law and if the law says it’s something to look at, look at it. But from now on, suck it up.”

Uh-huh. Do what “you” did, like bust out a fake Russian “collusion” hoax, conduct a sham impeachment trial, and torch Trump to a charcoal briquette, 24x7x365 — for four years?

That’s “sucking it up”?

“Grow the pair for him that he can’t grow for himself. Because this is ridiculous, you’re not sure that he won. You’re bringing into question all these Americans who voted legally, came out and stood and voted. How dare you question it?”

Given the tactful guy I am, I’ll keep my thoughts to myself on the silly “grow a pair” reference, but how dare we question the results of the election? Let’s play the “shoe on the other foot” game for a sec. If the results were reversed; if Team Biden were filing lawsuit after lawsuit over alleged voter fraud in multiple states, would you and the other Huns on “The View” — along with every Democrat in America — roll over and “suck it up”?

We both know the answer, do we not?

Besides, if you’re sure that Trump lost, perhaps you should ring up all 50 states and alert them that you’ve made the call, tell them to immediately certify the results from their respective states, and let’s get on down the road. Oh — and ring up Trump and his legal team and tell them to knock off the lawsuits. Problem solved!

Let’s visit several examples of the Democrats “sucking it up” and “accepting the results” of Donald Trump winning the 2016 election, just for Whoopi — starting with Joe Biden himself.

As reported by Fox News in May 2019, Biden agreed with a woman who admitted to being afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome that Trump was an “illegitimate” president.

Here’s how that went:

“He is an illegitimate president in my mind. That’s it,” the woman, who said she had “a very severe case of what’s called Trump derangement syndrome,” told Biden.

“He’s illegitimate and my biggest fear is that he’s going to do it again with the help of Vlad, his best pal, and we’re going to be stuck for six more years with this guy, and that is terrifying, it’s terrifying,” she said, mentioning Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Biden responded by jokingly asking if she would be his vice-presidential candidate. In a seemingly more serious tone, Biden said, “folks, look, I absolutely agree.”

Whoopi?

Here are a couple more examples, as provided by Daily Wire.

Former President Jimmy Carter, a Democrat, also suggested that Trump was an illegitimate president, claiming that “Trump didn’t actually win the election in 2016.” “He lost the election, and he was put into office because the Russians interfered on his behalf,” Carter claimed without evidence.

Two years into Trump’s presidency, 67% of Democrat voters said that they believed that it was “definitely true” or “probably true” that “Russia tampered with vote tallies in order to get Donald Trump elected,” according to an Economist/YouGov Poll.

Daily Caller reporter Peter Hasson noted that there was never any evidence of Russia tampering with vote tallies. Entire Democrat Party unavailable for comment.

In a related article yesterday titled ABC News Rewrites History, Says No Other Presidential Candidate in Modern History Has Refused to Concede, I reported on the declaration from ABC News that Donald Trump is the only presidential candidate in modern history to refuse to concede an election. The claim is a lie, regardless of how ABC couched its headline.

Hillary Clinton in 2016 not only refused to “suck it up” and deliver a customary election night concession speech after the outcome of the election was clear; she never did deliver one, choosing instead to “concede” to Trump in a private phone call. And as I said above, Hillary’s idea of “sucking it up” has been blaming everyone from Vladimir Putin to her own staff to the mainstream media — the mainstream media — for her loss.

I also revisted the 2000 election between George W. Bush and Al Gore in the article, in which Gore forced two recounts in Florida and was on the way to a third when the Supreme Court stepped in and ended the snipe hunt, after which Gore finally conceded — on December 13.

While we should all appreciate the learned scholars of “The View” without reservation, they’re full of crap about “sucking” anything “up” — just like they’ve been full of crap for more than four years about all things Donald Trump.

My usual disclaimer: Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and Sunny Hostin are irrelevant. In my mind when it comes to everything, but for the purposes of this article, as it applies to all things related to politics; the 2020 election and its aftermath in specific. What is not irrelevant is that these three stooges are representative of the Left as a whole. This matters to the extent that to defeat a force that views you as the enemy, it’s wise to understand how they think, and more importantly, what they are capable of doing.
