They Don't Learn. Celebs Demand Congress Make Donald Trump Act Right in New Video

They don’t learn. There is no other rational explanation for a new video from a group called, “Art Not War” calling for Congress to step in if Donald Trump doesn’t act right. Because their last video worked so well, the failed attempt at targeting electoral college voters was bad… this one while this one doesn’t pack the star power of the earlier video, is just as ludicrous.

The assumption is the popular vote represents the true will of the people, the good people of America, you know, the Democrats. Everyone involved with this production believes that everyone who voted for Trump is a racist, xenophobic, homophobic hillbilly freak that needs the guidance of Hollywood to do the right thing. You need to see this.

The video asks viewers to sign a MoveOn.org petition to be sent to members of Congress, so yes it’s just a data grab for the left. I know you’re shocked. The ad was created by the social media campaign Humanity for Progress, formerly known as the pro-Hillary Clinton group, Humanity for Hillary. Featuring an array of stars from Sally Fields to the guy from WestWorld, Jeffryy Wright, all of whom issue “demands” to Congress and to a President Trump.

“The majority of Americans, regardless of who they voted for, did not vote for racism, for sexism, or for xenophobia. And yet, Donald Trump won,” they say. “You represent us in Congress,” Rosie Perez explains to no one in particular. The ad called “#StandUpForUs” directed by Emmy Award winner Liz Garbus, the left is putting a lot of work into building their databases these days. My favorite part my be when they vow to not “remain silent”, like that’s the problem. They’ve been too quite before.

What is wrong with them? The “writing a letter” format, as spoken by celebrities in front of a green screen never gets old, does it? I mean if we can’t trust Steve Buscemi reciting lines from a script, who can we trust? Hey at least these videos are good for sharing with friends and laughing at the over privileged celebrities worrying about things that won’t ever happen, when there are real problems in the world. Not some imagined grievances.

Dear Lord. I didn’t vote for Trump, I was old school #NeverTrump, but these people make me glad he won. They’ve lost all sense of reality. I mean do they even hear themselves? It’s hard to imagine what they are thinking when they sign on to this gig.

I did a little re-write of my own, think of it as an Honest Trailer for the above video.

If the President starts to act sexist, call us, we’ll make another video… unless it’s Bill Clinton, in which case, we good.

If the President starts acting xenophobic, you tell him we said, “We don’t know what that means, but we’re against it”.

If the President starts acting homophobic, the first major party candidate to take the stage wrapped in an LGBT flag, you make him “Bake the Damn Cake”,too.

Look if celebrities want to keep making these videos, who am I to stop them from showing the world their ignorance? I do wonder if they have any idea that they are merely tools for George Soros and groups like MoveOn.org?
