"Officers located a deceased male in the first floor bathroom with a large amount of blood around him," it said. "The deceased male had his head removed from his body."

The head was found inside a cooking pot, in a plastic bag, in an adjacent bedroom. It was identified to be that of Michael F. Mohn, who lived at the same address.

The report added that his wife and and Justin Mohn's mother, Denice Mohn, had last left the house at 2 p.m. Tuesday, when both men were at home. When she returned home, her son was gone and her husband dead.

Mohn posted a 14-minute long video, titled: "Mohn's Militia - Call To Arms For American Patriots," on the popular social media site, and started the video off by picking up, what looked like a clear plastic bag containing a bloody severed head, and displaying it in front of the camera. Mohn said it was the head of his father and that he had tortured, killed, and beheaded him for being a Federal government employee who betrayed his country and the Constitution. The video, which was initially posted to YouTube at approximately 3 PM Tuesday and remained on the site for almost six hours before being taken down by YouTube.

Mohn then goes on a 14-minute diatribe about how his Father was rotting in hell for eternity for being a traitor to the country and how the Federal government has declared war on the American people and states.  Mohn goes on further describing what he calls the "far-left woke mobs rampaging" American cities and causing the country to "rot from within." He calls President Joe Biden and like-minded Federal employees traitors to the country and makes repeated calls for "patriots" to rise against them. Mohn went on further to describe what he called the "fifth column" of illegal immigrants into the country and calling for the death of all government officials, including Biden. The video ends with Mohn, stating that he was the commander of the "Mohns Militia" and ordered all militias across the country to rise and fight, he then picks up a cooking pot with his father's head inside and displays it in front of the camera.

Due to the video being up on YouTube for several hours, the video was watched by thousands of people and was spread all over various social media sites before YouTube finally pulled the plug on the video and had it removed for violating their guidelines. After the video was taken down from YouTube, a spokesperson stated that the video was taken down due to violating their "strict policies prohibiting graphic violence and violent extremism."

"The video was removed for violating our graphic violence policy and Justin Mohn’s channel was terminated in line with our violent extremism policies. Our teams are closely tracking to remove any re-uploads of the video,” the statement said.

The video was one of Mohn's last forrays into social media and political extremism. Mohn's past postings on social media sites including the postings of his self-released music, and his fictional writing, including a science fiction novel describing a "peaceful revolution."

A non-fiction book released via Amazon in 2017, titled "The Revolution Leader’s Survival Guide," contains the transcript of a letter to then-President Donald Trump warning of "a peaceful revolution helped led by the author if positive change does not come to America and the world soon."

Police officials say that the investigation is ongoing. Mohn was arraigned early Wednesday morning and was denied bail. A press conference is expected later on Wednesday.
