Daily Wire host Candace Owens and rapper Kanye West, also known as Ye, were seen wearing “White Lives Matter” apparel at West’s Paris fashion show. Of course, the left had a meltdown after seeing the image of Owens and West in their apparel, but Owens was not fazed. She has been a critic of the Black Lives Matter movement and organization.

Owens called out the Democrat Party, noting that they should not be outraged over apparel but instead be outraged over threats to the black community, such as abortion, obesity, and black-on-black crime.
Owens said:
“If ‘black lives matter,’ then some of these things that we have been talking about on this show, things I’ve been talking about throughout my entire political career, would be getting attention, not the t-shirt.”
If Democrats truly care about black folks, they should do something about the rampant crime in Chicago, Philadelphia, and other Democrat-led cities that largely negatively impact black families.
It is important to invest in underprivileged communities, which BLM “promised” to do, yet they did not. Instead, all we saw from the organization was that they bought a mansion with the money donated to them.
During his administration, Donald Trump signed a bipartisan bill that permanently provided more than $250 million a year to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Under the Biden administration, HBCUs were looking forward to $45 billion in funding, but they received just $2 billion out of the $3.5 trillion bill, yet the administration will claim they support HBCUs. If Democrats truly care about black folks, they should act, not just talk about it, whether it involves education, public safety, or anything in between.
Owens continued, speaking about abortion:
“Just so we are clear, abortion in America has contributed to the greatest decline in black population since the first black slaves arrived.”
“For whatever reason, since we have convinced ourselves to genocide our own offspring, nobody cares,” she continued. “In fact, they tell you that it is your right [to abort] … 20 million black babies, and yet a t-shirt is what got attention last night.”
“In 2012, more black babies were killed by abortion in New York City than were born.”
Owens also noted that obesity is the number one killer in America, adding “I know Black Lives Matter told you it was police shootings.”
She later spoke about crime, saying:
“No one wants to talk about criminality; people don’t want to talk about black-on-black crime.”
“Almost 40% of all of the homicide offenders in all of the United States, we’re talking about 7% of the population is black men.”
“Let’s not talk about that,” Owens said. “In fact, let’s call that racist to even acknowledge that truth, to talk about the ills in our own community.”
She then highlighted education, saying, “74 percent of black boys in California can’t pass a basic reading exam.”
Democrats should focus on solutions, not empty platitudes, but year after year, we see their policies hurting Americans.
Owens sarcastically concluded by saying:
“The real problem in black America is that Kanye and Candace put on a ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirt. So, let’s focus on that instead.”
