CNN Is Making All the Right People Upset by Attempting to Report the News Unbiasedly

Lately, CNN anchors and correspondents have been tweeting their real opinion about Joe Biden, Hunter, and the Biden administration; however, many people seem upset about the direction that CNN is headed. When Chris Licht took over as CNN’s new CEO, his goal was to bring CNN back to the center of the political spectrum and make it the go-to news network again.

Whether you are a fan of CNN or not, the network needs to return to the way things were before — straight news and informing the public of the important stories that took place. On Twitter, for the last couple of days, we have seen people tweeting that they will boycott CNN and only watch MSNBC following the firing of Brian Stelter and John Harwood, although MSNBC is as partisan and biased as they get. The biggest difference between CNN and MSNBC, currently, is that CNN attempts to bring on both sides; they have had on people who worked for Trump’s campaign, administration, and politicians like Ted Cruz, although partisan anchors like Don Lemon and Jim Acosta are still part of the network. On MSNBC, you see none of that. The only Republicans they bring are those they agree with and the “Never Trumpers.”

It is good that Licht became the CEO, and the path forward for CNN looks more unbiased and bi-partisan. But now, they seem to be facing backlash after Brianna Keilar and Jeff Zeleny pointed out that Biden should not be using the Marines and the Marine Band during a political speech.

Most recently, CNN correspondent Sara Sidner dared to tweet that Hunter Biden’s business dealings “shouldn’t be a partisan issue.”

She tweeted a thread, the first part of the tweet said:

“There are serious questions that should be asked about Hunter Biden. H’s not an elected official but legitimate questions should be asked and answered about his former business dealings and how it was handled by the FBI. This should’nt be a partisan issue.”

She’s correct. No corruption from any elected official or their family member(s) should be partisan. But the tweet by Sidner led to #BoycottCNN trending on Twitter.

Some call CNN “Fox News light,” and some say CNN has gone full MAGA.

In translation, CNN is taking steps to revert back to straight news and not appease either side of the political spectrum. This is the way it’s supposed to be. Those who are saying they will solely watch MSNBC, by all means, but those same people are the ones who are blind to the reality of the situation. At the very least, Fox News brings on Democrats to make their case, they bring on folks from the Biden administration, and their most popular show “The Five” always features a Democrat, and it is always a lively discussion and debate.

It will take time for CNN to gain back and grow its audience; however, it is vitally important for CNN to get back to the straight news network they once were. Licht does not seem to be popular with several people, and some are even upset at the direction CNN is headed; that’s how we know he is doing something right.
