The folks at the Daily Signal have put together this great video showing how the Federal Government is preparing to implement Obama’s Executive Amnesty. One of the most common defenses of the Republicans’ capitulation on the DHS funding battle was that shuttind down DHS would not actually stop the program from going forward; this video shows (among other things) that this is absolutely not true:

The suggestion that defunding the DHS could do nothing to stop the executive amnesty program is demonstrably false. Obama’s executive order was not just a declaration that certain people would not be deported, it was a complete government program complete with built in bureaucracy that requires money and people to function. If the program is starved of money, the applications in question cannot be processed and people cannot be hired to process them. This attack on the DHS funding fight was always a red herring.
